5 Star all around service. When I moved to the area a little over a year ago I decided one day to walk through their doors and have been hooked since. The staff is attentive, friendly, and happy to explain/recommend the dishes if you're new to the cuisine. All the food is super fresh and packed with flavor such as their newly added "Rhasta Pasta" (which I just got today and am already addicted to). Prices are great for the portions and they have a good range of options depending on your personal level of spice tolerance, with even some desserts to help balance them out. All in all I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new fave takeout spot to add to their rotation.
Friendly and efficient service. Delicious oxtail, great rice and peas and sweet plantains. Also tried their fish escaviche which was a good deal but we didn't love it. The jerk wings had good flavor but were a bit salty. Still very tasty. We'll definitely be back for their oxtail!! Generous and delicious portions. Also eyed their red velvet cake, will try a slice next time.
The service, staff and Food was Amazing! We were visiting from out of town to help a relative move and we are so happy we went here. We tried many dishes and everything, was Aaaaaaamazing! Try Chef specials , it will not disappoint! Thank you for very yummy dishes!
All I can say is WOW!! The food is out of this world. Authentic Jamaican food it would leave asking for more! I ordered the stew chicken along with a chicken patty just to give a try, the chicken is perfectly cooked and tender, falling out of the bones. Great tasting food, will definitely come back and order a different dish from the menu, now that I know how tasty the food is. Not to mention, the young man who served me was very pleasant. Im glad I don’t have to all the way to Rockville Ctr for good Jamaican food, I must say, this one is rather tastier. So go on and try it, you won’t be disappointed, I know for sure I wasn’t 🙂

Oxtail is so tender! Jerk Chicken is a little spicy. We loooove the steamed cabbage. Rice and Peas are delicious also. We will be going back! Skip to 2023. Oxtail still very tender! Cabbage was delicious but this time there were no carrots and such in them. This the place o would go to for oxtail. The spicy beef patty was awesome. A pinch of heat and very flaky!
Tried Uncle Don's kitchen for the first time today. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and explained to me all the different dishes they had. She was very helpful, and the food tasted amazing. If you're in the area or not, you should definitely check this place out.
Awesome Caribbean food option in the area. I ordered 2 large plates (curry chicken and oxtail) and a spicy beef patty. The large is HUGE. Food was delicious.
