Umi Sake House is my go-to sushi spot in Seattle. It stands up to all the big names and the fish here is delicious. While they do have lots of nigiri and sashimi options to choose from, to me this place is best known for all their amazing signature rolls of which the options are endless. Each roll also comes with 10 pieces which is super hard to find these days so while the price per roll may be a bit on the higher side it’s definitely worth it. Every roll here as well has a nice balance of fish to rice to extras so it doesn’t feel like just rice. Lastly, they give everyone free edamame to start which is great. There is plenty of seating inside including a cocktail bar and sushi counter but during dinner times it can get busy. There is also a happy hour from 4-6 with some options for drinks and bites. Can’t wait to be back already!
Made it in for happy hour! Food was delicious and service was excellent. Everything we had was fresh and flavourful. We will definitely be back! Shout out to Ryan who was friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and super sweet! Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for making our anniversary dinner so enjoyable!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Japanese sushi restaurant Umi Sake house, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. As a vegetarian sushi lover, I was delighted to find a wide variety of delectable vegetarian sushi rolls on the menu that left me craving for more. The ambiance of the restaurant is simply sublime. With soothing music and dimmed lights, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing dining experience. It's a place where you can unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But let's talk about the star of the show—the food. The vegetarian sushi rolls were a revelation. Each roll was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, carefully crafted with fresh ingredients that burst with taste in every bite. Every option on the menu was a delightful surprise. It's evident that the chefs here are true masters of their craft. What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had about the menu. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel like valued guests. In summary, this Umi sake house is a must-visit for anyone, whether you're a sushi aficionado or simply looking for a unique dining experience. The combination of outstanding vegetarian sushi rolls, a captivating ambiance, delicious food, and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel at home makes this restaurant a gem in the world of sushi. I can't wait to return and savor their culinary delights once again.
Amazing atmosphere and beautifully interior decorated. Fish was fresh, service was great and overall experience was worth coming for. The crispy rice sampler was delicious. The nigiri was super fresh with the perfect rice to fish ratio. Will definitely come back next time I’m in the city. Will recommend to anyone going to Seattle.
We had a wonderful dining experience here. The "crispy rice selection" was a delightful surprise, and the "knockout" sushi roll lived up to its name—though be cautious, it packs a spicy punch! The flavors were outstanding, making it a memorable meal.
Fantastic spot for sushi if you’re in downtown Seattle. Everything was fresh and creatively presented. Happy hour menu and drinks were generous and varied. As a person who can’t eat gluten, I appreciated the gluten-free options on the menu and the staff’s willingness to accommodate that need.
Everything was GREAT! Our server was the perfect level of attentiveness and provided excellent Sake suggestions for the flight. Atmosphere was fancy, yet laid back. We were seated in couch like setup right by the garden which gave the evening a comfortable feel. Honestly, very well priced for the quality.
Vegan decadence roll was okay, meh really. Waitress was super nice and attentive. They should add a vegan udon soup, bc thats why I even went there, so was sad they didnt. They only have stir fried udon but have option of tofu. The food is average imo, definitely more an Americanized Japanese restaurant. I prefer authentic places over these. The food is pretty but lacks flavour and kick like real Asian food should taste like. I guess if you want a quick bite with okay food and don't care about getting authentic Asian food this will pass. I'm spoiled from H-town Texas and have a critical taste bud for asian cuisine.
One of the best omakase experiences I've ever had. Chef really knows his fish, and lovingly takes diners on a journey on the fish, how it was chosen, aged and prepared. Watching him prepare and plate the fish was also a real treat. It's rather hypnot
One of the best Sushi experiences Iâve had anywhere. Consistently Amazing. Servers take the time to explain the intricacies of each course. Fish is perfectly seasoned and melts in your mouth. Not a place that focuses on gimmicks, instead, youâ
Wonderful rolls and dishes, cozy atmosphere and an amazing staff that was trying really hard to be nice to our 15 month old. He just was too shy and was unhappy. But they were extremely nice !!
My burrito was fantastic - big portion of fresh fish. My husband's poke bowl was great too. Not overloaded with rice, like it has good ingredient ratios. The guy working there was super nice. Also you can't beat the prices, especially downtown.
I started at this gym in Oct 2023 as I was getting back into my fitness journey after a prolonged hiatus and I couldnât have picked a better place to re-enter. Iâd been to a few F45 gyms on trial and enjoyed my experience. This location was close

My wife and I came here by accident. We were both very pleasantly surprised by the taste of real coffee. But the main thing is a pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive quiet music, a cultured audience and very friendly staff. A small coffee shop with a big
