I stopped by there, which turned out to be a miscommunication.I spoke to someone at the clinic not the shelter. But when I knocked the woman was pretty rude and looked at me crazy or like I was weird for even coming by or talking to her. She did tell me it was for somewhere else. Usually people that work at animal places are a lil nicer tho.
Every one who works or volunteers here cares deeply about animals. I foster kittens for them and get all the support and supplies I could wish for. Spayed and neuter your pets, people!!
My boyfriend and I went by to try and find a dog to adopt, and we’re told they do not allow viewing the dogs in person, and if we wanted to see them we’d have to schedule an appointment online to meet just one. It seems impossible to make a connection with a dog just by seeing a photo online. When we voiced this, the person up front told us we wouldn’t be able to tell their temperament in person anyways because the shelter is too loud. This seems very counterproductive, and feels like it discourages adoption.
This is a great place to volunteer. They are very flexible. After a simple orientation, you can drop in when you are available to walk dogs or interact with cats. There are many different ways to help. Would you like a hiking buddy? You can make a quick stop at the shelter and pick up a pup to take with you. Would you like the companionship of a pet but can't commit to having one full time? Stop by the shelter and bring a fur baby home for the weekend. The staff make it easy to help in any capacity. Pictured here is Marty, a very sweet and handsome boy we had over the weekend. If you're looking to cuddle, he's your man.
We got the best dog from here. We're so lucky to have found her. Staff was very kind too, made sure she was a good fit for our other dog. Her name was Sprout when we got her. She goes by Belle now.
Great way to volunteer and visit the puppies and kittens!
I'm very disappointed in the service team for helping the I've called and asked about pets background and the team members had attitude and a condescending tone which led me to believe that the animals are not good House of the way they said well we know where they they also stated they're open on the website and drove all the way up there at 8:00 when it's supposed to be open and they're not till and they're not open also when I get connected to somebody that's completely different from the website prompts and their phone number connects me to somebody completely different shows me that there's something very very wrong with their team members attitude services and their phone lines being connected phone line from 3 is getting connected to some man that says it's not even some man is not even connected to the Ukiah animal shelter tells me there's something fraudulent going
We miss being able to see all of the animals, and visiting with them. The pandemic has really changed a lot of things. This place is still amazing! We might not be able to visit all of the animals, but they allow meet and greets with an appointment. My mother was able to visit different dogs... until she found the perfect pet. This is the place to go!! We highly recommend!! Also if you ever want to donate pet food that your picky pet doesn't want, they gladly accept it.
I've been using Ukiah Wireless for more than 10 years now, and I couldn't be happier with the service. My interconnect connection is excellent, even though I'm in a remote area that's difficult to reach. Customer service is outstanding. Problems are
I had the pleasure of dining at Taco House, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The tacos were hands down the best I've ever had, and the warmth and friendliness of the owner added a delightful touch to the visit. If I were a local, I
Biggest redwoods of Mendocino County! It's off the beaten path, we drove around 50 minutes in from Mendocino city. The large redwood grove is a short quarter mile up a hill, but once you hit the valley it's absolutely gorgeous! There's a loop around
From Sacramento, CA just drive up here in ukiah town. I tell you this. Great small town and very respectful community. Holey bagels are delicious. Small market. Chinese food. Boba waffles and if you and families are staying in town or swinging by. De

From the first visit to Yokayo Ranch, we knew that this was a special place. Rachel, the owner of Yokayo Ranch, was so warm and down-to-earth, and helped us visualize how each space throughout the ranch could be set up for our wedding weekend. Throug
