I was there in a day full of Chinese people and the line was almost outside. The service at the bar was awesome. Very fast and delicious. People were very kind and cordial. Meat was perfect.

Great restaurant and bar located in the heart of New Orleans! Great food and drinks! Service was excellent and very friendly! We shared the New Orleans Style BBQ Smoked Ribs and they were fantastic! Also had a side salad that was really good. Clean establishment with a great atmosphere. Very well run restaurant! Highly recommend stopping here for a drink or meal when you are in the downtown New Orleans area!

It was a different experience, order from the bar wait for drinks and seat your self, which works for slow business but is a bottleneck when it is busy. Dim lighting and not as clean as it could be. Food is a pickup yourself, buffalo fried ribs are decent flavor but ribs are way over cooked, brisket tacos are ok certainly nothing that would draw you to the place and the potatoe salad is not freshly made, feels more grocery store bought. The cocktails were very good. This was a mediocre experience. 😕

This place was really good. The food was amazing. The bartender was really friendly, we even talked about music. They also have some pool tables. Will definitelly recommend.

I had a delightful dining experience at the Ugly Dog Saloon & BBQ Restaurant in New Orleans, LA. The pulled pork and Mac & cheese were absolutely amazing, and the service was top-notch. The only downside was the restaurant's temperature being a bit too warm, which slightly affected my comfort. Despite that, it was a fantastic meal, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Not great. At best, it was mediicre lukewarm food. Sausage was better than rest. Burnt wnds were great mess. Had stench of pot hanging around. See pic. They warned you not to smoke pot on patio. Too late i think.

Man have I missed Southern food and UGLY DOG SALOON & BBQ did not disappoint. A plate of their burnt ends with some jambalaya and potatoe salad was the best food I've eaten in months. Glad I stopped in. BIG PLUS FOR BEING DOG FRIENDLY BOTH INSIDE AND ON THE PATIO. He appreciated the water bowl. Thanks again.
