Awesome food. They use high quality ingredients and the cooking style is authentic to southern India. We loved all the dishes that we ordered. The idlis and the dosas were very nicely made. The chutney and the sambar were great accompaniments. The filter coffee was yummy. A great after temple food destination. Highly recommend !
Vada sambhar is great in taste. Do not miss the mouth freshener at the exit of the restaurant, it is too good to miss the refreshment at the end. I love dining at all vegetarian places and this is surely a must try while visiting Sri Venkateshwara Temple in Pittsburgh.
One of the most authentic tasting South Indian fare in an ordinary restaurant setting. Don’t judge the place by the looks, the food and service is awesome! And they are open on Christmas Day!
I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at this South Indian vegetarian restaurant! The menu was a treasure trove of authentic flavors, offering a wide variety of dosas, idlis, vadas, and curries that catered to every palate. The food was not just delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's dedication to both taste and aesthetics. I started with their signature masala dosa, which was impeccably crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful potato masala. The coconut chutney and sambar served alongside were the perfect accompaniments, adding a burst of flavors to every bite. For the main course, I couldn't resist trying their aromatic biryani. It was a fragrant symphony of spices, perfectly cooked rice, and a medley of fresh vegetables. Each spoonful was a journey of taste that left me craving for more. The attentive and courteous staff added to the overall charm of the place. They were happy to explain the dishes and offer recommendations, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. To round off the meal, I indulged in their rich and creamy kulfi, a sweet treat that provided the perfect ending to this culinary adventure. In summary, this South Indian vegetarian restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get. The combination of authentic flavors, welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service make it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the diversity and richness of South Indian cuisine. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delectable offerings!
This is a busy restaurant on weekends. Highly recommend this place. Because there is no Indian option near this place. We visited on a weekend and it was pretty busy. Orders were delivered very quick. Few items are really delicious… SouthIndian thali, mysore masala dosas, mirchi bajji, Chole Bathura are really good Some of our orders were not up-to the mark or too oil.. we let the restaurant staff and they fixed them all… immediately Coffee was too light… not strong. We were running out of time so didn’t ask for a fix. Pesarattu upma, Ravva dosa were not really good. Restrooms were not at all usable.
Nice taste. Recommend to visit for South Indian veg cuisine lovers.
Food was very good. The service is super. This restaurant being near to the famous temple has to be a must stop for any temple visitors. We ordered variety of dosa, idly, sambhar, and other South Indian delicacies and all were super good.
I was surprised by the menu. What's more interesting was, the food tasted just like it was made back in India. So authentic! The menu largely has Karnataka dishes because that's where the Udipi cuisine originated from. It's also very close to SV temple. I'll visit again to try more varieties. The place could upscale its interiors, perhaps more ventilation would make it more appealing.

Ordered here today and it was absolutely delicious! I truly appreciate small, local businesses like this adding some diversity to food options in an area full of drive thru windows and chains. Wait was supposed to be 25 mins, it was ready sooner than

I canât say enough about the incredible experience my group and I had at Big Rigs BBQ during the Pittsburgh DJ Summit. From the moment we walked in, the staffâs warm welcome and exceptional customer service set the tone for a fantastic evening.
Highly recommend! This place is amazing - in large part because of the staff! Everyone working there was so kind to the kids, and we're grateful for the fun day we had. Our niece and nephew had a blast jumping from bounce house to bounce house, they
Now that I'm in Pennsylvania, this is the first Italian food store I've visited. It was an amazing visit. Yes it appears to be old school when you walk in, but that's the charisma of it. They are loaded with authentic Italian pastries as well as so m
I always get the chicken California,no bun and extra veggies. It's on point every time. The workers there take pride in what they do that's evident. I love the perks I get for every dollar I spend too.
