I started kickboxing back in April of 2023 at Ucelo Martial Arts. It has been one of the best things I've done for my health. Initially, I was very hesitant to join as I did not have any martial arts experience. The instructors and the other students were so friendly and helpful and this is a reflection of the school overall. At that time I was about 213lbs and now, almost a year later, I am at 183lbs. You can count on having a good workout during every class!
I highly recommend Ucelo Martial Arts. They have brought out great confidence in my son. The attention and patience shown to the students is so great to witness. Bring your kids.
Amazing place for your little one to learn discipline and techniques and respect. I highly recommend it. My son has ADHD and the instructors here are very patient and are trained for kids with ADHD. My son has been attending for 3 weeks now and we have already noticed a change. We enjoy the 1on1 with Master Ucelo. I would like to also add that this place is family owned and very friendly. Sarahi has treated like family is always attentive. If you want your little one to learn Karate this is the place. They also offer striking and BJJ for adults which I am excited to sign up for.

My daughter started @ 5yrs old when they first opened it with Master Miguel as her sabumnim & she has only got stronger & definitely confident. Master Abel shows a strong sense of patience & understanding with children of all ages. I would highly recommend this mixed martial arts family.
Highly recommended! My daughter is always excited to attend class, through her training she has benefited greatly in all aspects. Instructors are truly caring and supportive to all students. Our son has been in the Little Champions class at UCELO Martial Arts Glendale for 2 years now and it was the best decision we could have made. It has made a big difference in our son’s confidence and they teach the kids about showing respect and gratitude to others by having good manners and self control. We love UMA!!!
