Capturing engagement sessions and quinceanera pre-event sessions at the UC Davis Arboretum is a photographer's dream! This place offered an enchanting backdrop that perfectly tells the story of the day. Diverse landscapes, vibrant gardens, and serene pathways provided an amazing canvas, allowing me to create captivating images. Whether it was the soft sunlight filtering through the trees during the engagement session or the vibrant bursts of color in the gardens during the quinceañera pre-event session, every shot felt like a work of art. Here are some of my favorite quince pre-event sessions and engagement shoots I had the chance to capture at the UC Davis Arboretum!
What an amazing and beautiful park in the UC Davis area. Totally had fun here. Found the trail here on AllTrails App and was definitely impressive with the atmosphere and all the activities around me. We ended up doing 3 loops around the lake. It's a safe and family friend area. Parking was free.
I love this place! It’s definitely one of my favorite ways to spend the day when I’m in Davis. Beautiful flowers & foliage everywhere! Great way to meditate with your eyes open. So therapeutic!🙏🏽☺️
Totally great place to spend a morning or afternoon, or the whole day.
Plants, trees, and flowers that you won't see often unless you do a lot of world wide traveling.
My wife and I spent the afternoon stopping and gawking at the wonderful plants. We were here on the 21st of November and the fall colors were also glorious.
A fun place to use an app to help identify flowers and leaves.
The only drawback was the lack of bathroom facilities and drinking water.
We like to go out to UC Davis a couple times a year to check out the plants and enjoy the college campus. During covid this was wonderful, plenty of space to sit in green grass and relax or walk along the water to spot turtles and various birds. Our kids enjoyed seeing the horses, cows and llamas as well. Great way to spend an afternoon.
Beautiful environment rich in plant diversity. Nature abounds. Cranes, hawks, ducks, turtles, lizards and so many more flora and fauna to experience. Bring your kids, loved one and your camera.
This is only the prettiest and therapeutic place I've ever been to! Like wow, as a Davis student I'm proud to just walk around whenever I'm stressing about homework or an upcoming midterm. I enjoy sitting on the bench looking out at the pond, or watching the sunset with my friends or family!
My boys enjoyed the walk watching the horses, ducks and squirrels. In case any one wants to bring food for the ducks, there is a do not feed the ducks sign along the trail.

Signed waivers, ordered some drinks, went through a walkthrough, and got to throwing. We had both axe thrown before, so it was some good friendly competit
A really cool brewery. It did not exist when I was a student, but they were super nice and the vibe was super chill. It is a great place for adults to go and try some beer. Will return the next time I am in Davis for sure.

What a beautiful space to see an opera or symphony all while supporting U.C. Davis and their students. There is plenty parking for events and you can't get online and reserve parking very easily for about $10. Inside you'll find comfortable seats, cl
The Avid Reader truly made my day, week, or even year. I pre-ordered Iron Flame on Amazon months ago and when release day came and they delayed my order indefinitely I was heartbroken. Thatâs when I called the Avid Reader. The kind lady I spoke to
Rooms are nice, location is great, staff are excellent. The free breakfast was a delightful surprise since that's getting rarer and rarer these days. It was pretty good too.
