Actually to be fair, the cubes of sirloin steak I had with the hibachi steak dish were lovely. But the whole presentation of the food was 'stack it high' and not to worry about being high end. I had enough fried rice for three, but it was oily, and not freshly cooked, out of a gigantic pot, no doubt, and very brown. No, this didn't float my boat.
I've loved coming to this spot but ever since COVID hit, the quality of this place went down. The sushi sizes became smaller, there's less flavor then there used to be, and it's a lot more crowded than before. My recent order had barely any flavor and I think it's time to find a new place because here I'm not getting my money's worth (recent picture from my takeout order)
We love it here! I am not a sushi connoisseur...I eat the veggie sushi. I LOVE their avocado/mango roll and sweet potato roll!! What I appreciate most is that there is plenty on the menu for someone that doesn't want "seafood" sushi but wants to enjoy a sushi meal with someone who does. They also have kitchen items and hibachi. Hoping to try their hibachi soon!
Came across this while visiting New Jersey and it did not disappoint. Everything that I had taste so good.
I’ve been going here for about 7 years now and I can easily say this is the best sushi in the area by FAR!! My boyfriend and I go all the time and are never disappointed. I would choose this as my last meal on death row.
Prices have risen just like everywhere else but my family has been going to U-Yee for Hibachi for YEARS 😭💜💜 this is my go to place for hibachi even if I'm just ordering to pick up and take home. I'm pretty basic i like to keep my order the same, an order of chicken hibachi and the Summer Roll! (Shrimp tempura topped with spicy crab meat) it's the best! I definitely recommend this place to anyone💜💜
A Beautiful Experience! We’ve visited hibachi for the first time after hearing about it from many friends, we were welcomed well, Ambience was 2/5. Staff were so friendly and they were quick and responsive. We’ve started with a hot tea and served so quick. It was fine- ish! Then came the talented Chef with playing around with the knives making sounds. He has put all the veggies and meat on the grill and cooked food so fast. Fried rice veggies and meat was nice. Overall experience was worth.
Been to sushi and hibachi restaurants all over the country, this is genuinely a solid spot.. Ive gotten sashimi, sushi and habachi here, and never been let down.
