The pool was beautiful, and my son and I enjoyed it immensely. The location was perfect, with so much to do in a short radius. Anthony and Wendy were excellent hosts! They were very hospitable made us all feel like family!

Terrific place for a family vacation with great memories that will last a lifetime. Anthony and Wendy make everyone feel like VIP’s. They are very attentive to all the guests needs and we felt very safe and comfortable during our trip. I was happy to do my part to help out during our stay by holding down the pool chairs and making sure they didn’t float away. 🙂 Cabins are clean, well maintained and well situated for privacy while still keeping everyone close to the many activities available throughout the property. Fairview cabin had nice lighting, cable tv, comfortable couches, plenty of kitchen utensils, plenty of hot water, box fans for each room, nice new flooring, and a comfy screen porch. Pool is amazing, great playground for the young ones, kids had a blast playing in the game room, ping pong, shuffleboard, volleyball, corn hole, and many other games, the fire pit is arguably the best in the Adirondacks. Anthony and Wendy put on some of the best campfires we have ever been a part of. The property has a great location on a quiet private road at Loon lake, just a few short minutes from the thruway. Anthony and Wendy have a great list of local attractions. Chestertown is a small town with plenty of mom and pop stores for shopping and a great farmers market, and an ice cream parlor just minutes from the cabin. The Loon Lake public beach is right across the street, natural stone bridges and caves, Adirondack extreme zip lines, and green mansions golf course are just a few of the activities we did and all are just minutes away.

Unique mountain cabin experience for family. Lots to do in the area any season. If you have been camping not glamping this will be 5 stars. If you are a high-class snoot, germophobe, Karen, that's not out doorsey this place probably isn't for you.

We had a wonderful winter stay in a spacious, rustic cabin with a fireplace. There was a great sledding hill just behind the cabin and two slippery snow saucers by the door. That's some good, scary fun for a couple of retirees!||||We spent our days skiing at Garnet Hill and Snowshoeing in the Siamese Ponds Wilderness. We spent our evenings in the cabin in front of the fire. Three nights and we never turned on the TV. Can't wait to do it again!||||Our host, Wendy, was awesome. We never actually met, as we chose a contact free transaction. But she was a pleasure to work with and welcomed us with (proverbial) open arms. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Whether on the phone or by email, we had fun chatting with Wendy and feel like we made a new friend.

I can't say enough about our stay at Wendy and Anthony's property. From our first communication to check out, they were amazingly responsive to our needs. This was a family vacation for myself, my 30 year old daughter, my 80 year old father, and my physically disabled sister. When we arrived at the property, Wendy let us at the door with the key to the cottage and several brochures for local activities. We got to the cottage to find that my sister's wheelchair wouldn't fit through the bathroom door. We asked if it would be ok if we removed the door for our stay. The next thing we knew, Anthony was at the cottage removing the door and hanging a curtain over the door way for us. Who does that? Someone who wants to keep their guests happy, that's who. We rented kayaks and they helped us take the to the lake, get them in the water, and even made sure we were safely in them before they left. They offered to give us their cell number in case we got in trouble while on the lake. The cottage was exactly as described. The pool was beautiful. The game room was well stocked with q lot of fun outdoor games as well as board games for rainy days. The location was perfect. Five minutes from town with grocery stores, pharmacy, and restaurants. 20 minutes from Lake George c60 minutes from Lake Placid. I cannot say enough good things above our trip and stay. I wish I didn't have next year's vacation planned already, because I'd love to be able to go back and spend two weeks at Twin Pines Lodge.

What a great find! We were looking for a place last minute to get away with friends and family and we were so lucky to find Twin Pines. Irene, the owner is super nice and very accommodating. The cabins are clean and comfortable with everything you could need. They have a beautiful pool, lots of outdoor activities and a camp fire pit for s'mores and relaxing.( they even provide the wood). We will definitely stay again when we're in the area!

Americade lodging in June.||||||Americade lodging in June.||By Mike T||I've been vacationing at TwinPine for 16 years. We stay for a week every June during Americade Bike Week. I've traveled all over the country, but when we arrive here, it's truly like "coming home." Irene is the most gracious host. The cabins are immaculate and have all the amenities anyone would want in a vacation home. I can't speak highly enough of the accommodations and the serene location. Truly a peaceful getaway.

It's a shame I couldn't give Fern Lodge six stars. Peaceful, quiet, Adirondack lodge-style luxury, and yet, not over-the-top snooty. Wendy was a warm and friendly host, as was Sharon. Breakfast was amazing! The views of Friends Lake from our room an
