Twin Peaks in San Francisco is a destination that never ceases to amaze me, no matter how many times I visit. My recent trip marked my third visit, and each time, Twin Peaks offers a different but equally mesmerizing view of the city. My first visit was on a foggy day, where the tops of buildings peeked through the mist, creating a surreal and picturesque landscape. Despite the fog, the beauty of San Francisco's skyline was undeniable, with the building tops adding a touch of mystery to the scene. The second time, I arrived during sunset, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful sights I've ever witnessed. The way the setting sun painted the sky and bathed the city in a warm, golden hue was nothing short of magical. It's an experience that I would recommend to anyone seeking a moment of sheer beauty. On this latest visit, although it was a bit windy, the experience was still fantastic. Walking around Twin Peaks with my family, we enjoyed panoramic views of the entire city. It was a special moment, pointing out landmarks, our hotel, favorite restaurants, and even the apartment where I used to live. This personal connection to the sights below added a unique and memorable aspect to the visit. Twin Peaks is an ideal spot for a picnic on a sunny, warm day. The scenic beauty, coupled with the peaceful atmosphere, makes it a perfect place to relax and soak in the views of San Francisco. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, Twin Peaks offers a breathtaking perspective of the city that is both inspiring and tranquil.

Beautiful views of the city! Even the hardest trails are pretty moderate. I can’t wait to come back on a sunny day or around sunset! The hike from Portola Drive to the top of both peaks & back takes about an hour. There’s lots of parking in nearby neighborhoods.

Truly a wonderful place to view San Francisco in day or night. It's mostly cold or chilly, so be sure bring a jacket. Now, there is a guy sells a hot dog or fruit here too so no need to go anywhere else for food. The view has bay bridge, golden gate, Oakland, Berkeley, Treasure Island, Angel Island and San Francisco.

What an amazing venue to look at the entire city of San Francisco. You can see everything from here- Bay bridge, golden gate park, Golden Gate Bridge. Every street of SF and every skyscraper can be seen. Warning: it is very windy here and your caps are bound to fly away. Have fun!

easy and beginner friendly hike :) no need for hiking shoes, can be cold on top. remember to explore the other sides of the peak for a better and more holistic experience!

The view here is great. There was, as the name suggests, to hill peaks around here. It gets cold at the very top so bring something with a bit of cover if you plan on setting on any of the peaks. The stairs kind of suck for a few of them so I'd watch my footing. You're around fog cloud levels so you can actually see and feel them roll in and out. Around the area there are a couple of bougie porta potties and some dude is probably gonna have a food kart.

Make sure you choose a sunny day to visit Twin Peaks. It is a no brainer of you are visiting San Francisco. You get fantastic views of the bay, the towers and the bridges. Also make sure to wear warm cloths or layers as it is always chilly up here.
