Twin Oaks Resort - Resort hotel in Brainerd - 15114 Nokay Lake Rd, USA

Just got back from staying at Twin Oaks Resort for the first time. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The fishing was great! The fish cleaning house had a lot of space and was kept very clean as well. If you bring your own boat they let you keep it at their docks for a very reasonable fee. Hope to stay again!

We will be making this place our yearly cabin destination. Paul is so kind and the cabins are very nice. The boat rental prices are manageable and there’s enough to do, even on rainy days, that you don’t have to leave. The lake is beautiful with plenty of wildlife. I hesitated writing this because I don’t want to reveal this gem. Perfect for family reunions and kids! My son left his lovey and Paul mailed it the following business day. Thank you for the memories Twin Oaks Resort!

This place is absolutely beautiful! The beds aren't great by any means but everything is so so clean and well but together. Remember if you want to grill to bring some charcoal (I forgot but the family did not) they have pontoons for rent and places to doc your own boat which is great. The fishing on this lake it pretty good. Lots of bass and sunnies. I've heard claims of walleye and northerns but can't prove that by me!

Pet Friendly!!! Great location, almost the same miles to get to Brainerd or Garrison. Stayed here mid-October (MEA) in cabin 5. Cabin inside and out is beautiful. You have a direct view of the lake from your front door and access to the boat docks. Cabins were stocked with more than enough kitchen supplies and all beds are fully furnished with pillows and blankets. I definitely over packed. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Have already referred family and some friends.

Really nice cabins, smaller ones recently redone. Love the air unit upstairs in the loft of the larger cabin. Kids love the lake and the float. Fantastic and friendly owners. Will be back this winter for ice fishing. Btw, don't forget a small pouch of cat treats when you come.

Spent Memorial weekend here. The owner is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The cabins are fabulous and extremely well cared for and clean. There is a lot to do here for kids with a large play area. Will definitely come back here in the future.

The new owner Paul is a great guy. Stayed in a cabin on the water for a week and he helped us with anything we needed. Great fishing right off the docks of the resort and plenty of places to park a boat. There are also modern facilities for showering if you're staying for a weekend right next to the sites. A great resort on a quiet lake!

The above review is spot on! The new owners of Twin Oaks, (Paul and Veta), are bye far the best people to have blessed this location. Not only are they always willing to help you feel right at home, their outgoingness and dedication to keeping Twin Oaks a fun family establishment is easily seen bye all! The fishing is great here and with little recreation traffic and pleanty of mouths biting your bait; loosing track of time here is no task to even the novice of fisherman(lady):-) ||Overall I would have to say that this location is truly a beautiful and remarkable place. Perfect for that true, "Minnesota Get Away".....and even your dogs are welcomed with open arms. Hope you seriously check this place out. Good luck and God bless.
