Twin Mountain Inn & Suites - Motel in Pigeon Forge - 3929 S River Rd, USA

We stayed here for five days and enjoyed the experience. The building doesn't sit on the main highway but one block off and that is nice, less noise. Staff was always polite and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean, plus parking was close. The continental breakfast is good with plenty of choices. Most attractions & restaurants were within one block to a mile and a half from the hotel. Smoky Mountain National park is a very short drive from here. We would stay here again if back in the area.

So the hotel is nice and clean. The ducks are usually below the balcony. We travel with our three small, well traveled dogs and by small I mean 3.5 lbs, 6 lbs, and 10 lbs. We are the type of pet owners that are obsessively neat about " our girls" as we call them. I made the hotel aware that we would have the girls with us in an email thru booking.com and again when we arrived. They charged us for two of them and also a $143.17 extra charge for the first day before we even arrived. Then they charged us 496.00 for the three nights, plus the dog fees for two dogs. We never hid or made any attempt to hide our dogs as we walked them day and night at the hotel where we were subjected to all manner of guests coming and going with one older guest dropping the F bomb as he was getting out of the car next to us and fussing with his wife, kids that took over the steps of the pool and the mom completely ignored them unless they splashed her, and the woman that apparently could not smoke in her room, but sat in the car next to us and smoked with the window down.....I say all of that because our dogs were well mannered and the room was left clean. I say all of this because when we checked out the young Jamaican girl with the long braids told me she was adding 67.35 extra for our third dog. I informed her we had paid already and they still had 143.17 that they had already taken before we arrived and that I had made the hotel aware that we traveled with our three small dogs. We never asked for the maids to clean the entire three nights, retrieved our own clean towels and took the dirty ones to the office and retrieved our toilet paper when we ran out and left the room as clean (or cleaner) than when we arrived. So why would it be okay to charge us an additional charge and then as I was leaving she turned to the other girl and snickered and laughed because she had made me angry. I whirled around and told her I was going to write a scathing review of her and so I have. I also called and spoke with Robert who said the GM was there usually between 9am-2 pm. The customer experience was great until this particular young woman, but in a town where hospitality is supposed to be a given she is not giving anyone anything but a rude time.

This place is awesome! It is my definite GO TO PLACE! Most places have stopped putting microwaves in their rooms. Twin Mountain still provides a microwave and refrigerator. I truly love that each room has a private balcony overlooking the river. Each morning you can look out and see and feed the ducks. A lot of times you’ll get lucky and also see baby ground hogs and beavers.

Fantastic hotel for everyone and their pups. Close to the strip but back on the river and very peaceful. The rooms are very clean with no signs of wear and tear that often happens in pet friendly hotels. Many thanks to the staff, they do an amazing job here. Our room smelled so clean and refreshed when we entered. We would never stay at another hotel in PF! Thank you for this hotel

Clean rooms! Decent shower😊 Very quiet location. Beautiful smokey Mountain View Close to Dollywood. Hotel staff is super friendly and nice! The front desk guy made our check in and out experience quick and easy. Definitely recommend this place!

Lovely small inn with 4 floors, fire pit, and swimming pool. Very clean large rooms with balcony over the river. I loved watching the birds and wildlife from the balcony. Great breakfast! Nice staff! Best vacation stay. Close to Dolly Parton’s Stampede.

All of the following were GREAT: Location Cleanliness Room space Calm/quietness Staff Eating/continental breakfast area is almost non-existent, however. For a place that has as many guests and rooms as Twin Mountain does, there is hardly any space to move, or to sit and eat. We had to eat outside, and even then, someone was smoking a pipe (which is supposedly against the rules) that stunk up the area with the outside tables and seating, so we had to eat breakfast on poolside lounge chairs. Overall a good value for the stay. Plan on eating breakfast elsewhere however!
