Tuxedo Park STL Bed & Breakfast Inn - Featured Reviews (64)
After we had settled in & explored the place a bit, I wondered why, on our many trips to St. Louis, we hadn’t stayed here before.
It has all my favorite things: The structure is unique, to say the least, and our room was simply beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, as was the coffee. The water pressure was excellent; the hosts engaging & knowledgeable; and the assistant innkeepers are dogs! A dream come true, actually.
The fact is that it was always fully booked when we’d tried before. We finally lucked out.
So plan ahead or change your dates to fit availability. It’s wonderful.
I was born in St. Louis and the iconic light stone buildings with the light grouting are a staple of my memories. This place did not disappoint. Friendly and helpful owners, who helped us find a to-go breakfast place so we could bring breakfast to family, appealing public spaces which I used for gaming and knitting (near the electric fireplace), plenty of snack and drink choices all hours of the day and night, and a really, really peaceful vibe. The building itself is chock full of history and the woodwork and stained glass windows were just gorgeous. The kitchen/dining area is just as beautiful in person as it is on the site, and the bathroom was everything you could want. Beds totally comfortable. And the dogs made us home sick for ours. Definitely would stay again and 100% recommend.
I recently stayed here for a girls birthday weekend. I stayed in the Laurel room. The room and the bathroom was absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was amazing and the owners were incredible nice. I would recommend staying here for your next trip!
My friend and I stayed here as lodging for trip to see the eclipse. Bill and Maureen were gracious hosts (and their dogs, too.) The place is immaculate. I highly recommend. If back in STL area I will return. 🙂
My wife and I recently stayed at Tuxedo Park B&B on a trip to Webster Groves. The building is beautiful, the owners were amiable, our rooms were well appointed, and breakfast was delicious.
Honestly the pictures on the website do not do this B&B justice. It is so lovely and everything is just high quality. The owners are so nice. I had to be in town for business and it was so wonderful to return here instead of a hotel. The beds were great. The bathroom was amazing and the deck was so inviting after a long day. I could have never slept at hotel with the windows open. I felt so pampered.
Incredible and totally unexpected find. Had to move Mother from independent living to assisted living in Webster. After a rough day of moving, I checked into the B and B. Bill and Maureen were there to greet me with a glass of wine, cooked me dinner, and turned a rough day into a delight. The church is amazing. Rooms are great. My bathroom was totally renovated and the entire neighborhood was decorated for the holidays. I cannot express my gratitude properly but to say…I will never stay anywhere else when visiting St Louis. Happy Holidays Bill and Maureen!!
I grew up in Webster Groves, and in late 2021, my wife and I came back for the holidays to visit my family whom we hadn't seen for several years because of the pandemic. At my mom's suggestion, we enjoyed a weeklong stay at the Tuxedo Park B & B, which she had read about, right there in Webster Groves. The building is a former church that's been beautifully restored and still held its magic. The guest rooms upstairs were so carefully redone with old-world details. We got to hear the full history of the renovation from the owners, Maureen and Bill. Or as we architects would call it, adaptive reuse- taking an old building and adapting it for a new use unrelated to its original function. || The presence of the grand piano in the old, vaulted church sanctuary, and the huge banquet table up on the former altar planted a seed of an idea in my head. My mother would be turning 90 in 2023, and we also had four other family members, including my wife, turning 60. A big birthday party in the old sanctuary-turned-living-room-and-dining-hall would be awesome! We made reservations for all four rooms, and were thus granted full use of the sanctuary for the party. || We spent the spring and summer further planning and coordinating with Maureen and Bill for a gathering of 25, plus four new babies, coming in from all over the country. Bill and Maureen did the catering for a fabulous meal, we set up many musicians in the family around the newly-tuned grand piano to play a short program of songs we'd only rehearsed remotely but were able to pull off surprisingly well, ate cake, told stories, showed old home movies, and eventually did karaoke late in the evening. || Thanks so much to Maureen and Bill for hosting the party of the century, an evening forever to remember!

It was definitely a great vibe! The The ambience was a salute to everything New Orleans, blues, and fun. We came on open mic night so we stayed around a bit to hear some good music from a couple of the house bands. Our server was polite and knowledge
A very small park that fits in well with the St. Louis sculpture theme. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit but if in the area definitely worth a visit.
Excellent food! Happy and wonderful staff! I have eaten here many times and absolutely everything I have eaten has been top notch. I will eat here forever and ever.
Order at the counter and then go sit and wait for your food with your number flag. I
Although my drink hasn't been spot-on the way I want it, that has become the goal with the staff & I during each visit. It's gotten closer, so with the next 2 visits, I'm sure the goal will be achieved. Great staff & experience!
The block is consistently a good experience and tonight was no exception. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The bacon jam here is amazing. If you get something and it's an option to add it, do it. It's that good.
