The very first stop at the Sequoia National Park is the Tunnel Rock. Tunnel Rock is a giant flat granite rock that has been dug and transformed into a tunnel. In the past cars could be driven through the tunnel, not anymore though. But you can walk underneath the tunnel and take photos. You can also walk on top of the rock too if you are brave enough. Beware of the three-leaved poison oaks that grow here! There are two small parking lots on both sides of the road. For crossing the road there is a crosswalk. you can also walk on the stones to see the Kaweah River on the other side of the Tunnel Rock.
Cool rock feature that looks like a tunnel. Not a very difficult hike up to the top to get some pics on it. Looks like years ago you may have been able to drive under it? Probably not worth going out of your way to see, but do stop if you’re passing by.
I recently stumbled upon an incredible rock formation called Tunnel Rock. It's absolutely stunning and so easy to climb! However, if you're someone who is afraid of heights, I would suggest staying away. Nonetheless, it's definitely worth checking out if you're up for the adventure!
Cool spit no parking 4 spots tight right along the generals highway there is a cross walk please obey all traffic laws pedestrian crosswalk
C'était pas ouf. Juste un caillou posé à plat qui forme un tunnel. On ne peut y passer qu'à pied et pas en voiture comme je le pensais. Visible depuis le bord de la route. Pas la peine de s'arrêter.
Landmark spot as you enter the Sequoia National Park from the South side. There is a small parking lot across and plenty of scenery to take some good photos.
Sit on the side of the road. Park on the other side of the street. Cool huge rock.
Nice spot for photography. Would recommended visiting while going uphill towards sequoia national park as there are more parking spaces on the right when you go than while coming downhill exiting the park. It was actually a road before for vehicles to drive under the rock.

This is a nice area. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This is a grove filled with sequoia trees and there are numerous hiking trails that go through these groves. Thereâs also a visitor center here with exhibits about sequoia trees
This place is simply wonderful. The location is fantastic, the service is superb, and the rooms and cabins are cute and cozy. Stayed here for the second time, a year after the first. We were in the Hummingbird cabin this time, which is a perfect cabi
Gorgeous mountain views the sound of the river flowing downstream was so relaxing. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes for the walk. Parking is limited.
Great local place next to the river. You can watch the rafters float by while having your meal. Super friendly staff. I had breakfast and my eggs were perfect. A simple but rare feat. Definitely go when in the area.
Excellent! Service was absolutely great! Food was so good, the pub style fish & chips were amazing & the haymaker burger was great, both of the girls who waited on us were super friendly & right on the ball!! The chili is absolutely exceptional, s
