Tulip Inn - Hotel in Mount Vernon - 2200 Freeway Dr, USA

The people at the front desk were so nice and friendly. Check in was quick but super pleasant. Free coffee. Lots of parking and restaurants nearby. Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sandwiches and coffee for breakfast was a super cool change from Grab & Go pastries and other motel breakfasts. The room wasn't bad for the price. Lots of updates, mostly clean, better than most other motels around the same price point. The atmosphere at the motel itself was chill... but it's just unfortunate about the nearby area. We wandered around for food after checking-in and across the highway was kinda sketchy. Not actually by or near the hotel itself, so no biggie.

Great location! Close to food options, gas, and a Walmart! The room was okay. You could feel the coils in the mattress and it was lumpy! Need to replace!! Also, the microwave was on top of the fridge and the cord couldn't reach the outlet. Vanity lights didn't work in the bathroom. But didn't mind since there is also an overhead light. Not much in the way of breakfast but we went to IHOP across the street.

It is a well-appointed, no frills, comfortable place to stay. Location is convenient, very central. Several places to eat very close. Shopping across the street. Contintental breakfast is barebones. Freeway noise not good, but better than expected. Freeway is right behind the hotel. Rooms are very clean, no frills. AC works well. Bathroom is huge, throne could be larger. Pretty nice place to stay. Staff is amazing sweet. You are family here. Very nice people.

Spacious, clean and well equipped rooms. The bed was very and soft. Motel is in great location. Lots of.places to eat and a Walmart right across! About 1 hour and 15 min from North Cascades Scenic Hwy.

This hotel is NOT pet-friendly. We booked through Hotwire, I showed my confirmation that said they were pet-friendly. Their own homepage states they have pet-friendly rooms. I offered to put down an additional deposit to ensure my dog wouldn't cause any damage. But they turned us away anyway.

I will say when I reserved my room I knew this wasn’t the highest or lowest price place to stay around the area. My week long stay was great without issue with the room/bathroom on par with the pricing and very acceptable plus easy access to places to eat and a Walmart across the street if you need something quick. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay. It is only a two star so don't expect much. But it is clean and was quiet. Free breakfast consists of packaged pastries, microwaveable oatmeal, breakfast sandwich, coffee, tea, oj. Rooms have a fridge and microwave which was more than I was expecting. Very convenient location near Walmart and close to the Skagit playing fields (7min car)

This family run motel was one of the best motel experiences I've had. Very clean, amazing location, Walmart is right across the street, and the staff was very sweet and helpful
