Everything we ordered here was delicious. The shrimp basket was so good, the batter used for frying is really crunchy. They gave us some fried banana as a treat and I will definitely order that too next time!

We've been enjoying Tugboats for decades & it was a delight to come home after 7 years to find them still open & awesome as ever. We ordered a 2 strip fish & chips, plus a fish & clams basket. Weather is absolutely gorgeous right now so sitting outside in the tiny ocean themed cabana felt like heaven. First bite into the onion rings on top made the better half giggle. They are the lightest, crispiest, most perfect ring. Oil isn't overused, nothing too dark, fish was perfect as always. There's only 4 places we made a point of returning during this trip & Tugboats is one. Tiny place, been around forever & great dive fish & chips I think we spent $28 for the 2 baskets & a soda

Great food. Highly recommend for delicious fish and chips. Light battering of quality fish and onion rings. Very tasty! Sizeable portions and small prices equal a decent lunch. The man and woman running the restaurant were polite and professional.

Very reasonably priced fish and chips: for what I paid, I got plenty. Fish was tender and moist. Clams were a bit tough and dry, and I could not taste the actual clams. The best and freshest were the veggie fries with mushrooms, carrots, onions, and zucchinis. The dining areas could use some investment by updating the furniture and decor, or at least some new paint. The service was friendly and fairly quick.

This place is so stinking cute. Little tugboat shaped building with a lovely outdoor seating area. The service is always super friendly and helpful. The food is great, too. Keep a saltshaker handy if you like your chips salted, though; but if you're watching your sodium, this is good news! Their neighbors can be a tad noisy, so try the Greenback location if you require dining in peace.

This spot is amazing! Food is always cooked to order and fresh as ever. Been coming for years and will keep doing so. I think its family owned also. So cool.

I’ve been to several of the Tugboat locations and this one has the nicest staff. We went for lunch, the food came out fast, hot and delicious. I got the 3 piece fish and it was more food than I expected. We ate outside in a area that was set up with covered picnic benches. It was a bit noisy from the traffic on Fair Oaks but nothing terrible. I’ve driven by this location so many times and missed seeing it, but now it’s a place I’d happily eat at again.

Can I just put this out there... we just stopped at this place for dinner. [On a whim because the one on greenback was cosed] ITS WAS SOOOOO GOOD. And to top it off, the service was BEYOND AMAZING! They made us feel beyond welcomed and appreciated. I'm so surprised they were not busier. We will be back for sure! Pease check them out! The batter on everything was delicious! We're going to be regular customers here!! We had everything from the fish and chips, coleslaw, hush puppies and fried Asparagus 😋 oh and don't forget the fried bananas! Can't wait to return!
