Stayed here for 8 days in May 2023. Enjoyed it so much we reserved an extended stay for 30 days in March 2024. We had a great time in March we used very few of the facilities and had absolutely no problem. I attempted to contact the office earlier this week and had to leave a voicemail that they never returned. Once I finally got a live person to answer she was very rude to me and acted as if I was a bother to her day. I inquired about making an extended stay for March 2025 and she said they have new management who requires a background check before they’ll even consider a reservation. The cost would be $100. So essentially telling me it’s going to cost me $100 for the privilege to make a reservation. I’m a longtime KOA rewards member who has used KOA exclusively when available. I have stayed in multiple KOAs in at least 15 states. I’m going to have to reevaluate my choice of KOA as my first option. If this is a company decision it’s not a good decision. If it’s an individual location decision doesn’t speak well for customer service.

This place is fantastic. I liked it so much I'm planning on renting a cabin when my RV goes into service. I gave it a full five stars even on location, because I had business in the city and this is so much nicer than a hotel. Do your due diligence.. it is a commercial area near the airport. It's a great location if you have business with one of the RV dealerships in walking distance, it's close to the big Tucson bike loop trail, and it is large enough to get a good walk in just staying in the park. Otherwise it's a city and not much to walk to. There's small dog areas scattered through the park, and one very large off leash area they created in a flood control area. Another commenter was annoyed that it flooded after a heavy rain, but I was grateful they let us use a space that is normally nice and dry. I've never seen such a wide variety of amenities offered at individual sites. Even my "cheap" site had a hedge and a grapefruit tree ready for picking. Nice.

We've stayed here several times with our grandsons and really like it. It has numerous amenities, including a swimming pool, restaurant, full bar, workout room, laundry room and clean, modern restrooms just to name a few. Of special note is the pond and the shade structures. Our grandsons love going to the on-site pond to feed the turtles, fish and ducks. The r.v. shade structures are unique in that they double as solar energy collectors. Great place to stay when in Tucson! My only complaint is that we always get put on the very south / western end of the shade structures so our unit is always in the sun. We have an interior space but have been told that their computer program picks the space and it can't be change. Still, I commend them for using an alternative energy source.

My first night there, my belongings (wallet, keys, and cash) We're stolen from me at the pool. Staff refuse to help locate which Campers the thieves were staying in and lied to me about having a surveillance camera at the pool which was requested by Tucson Police Department. The campground looks very nice as well maintained and this led to be believing that even though I know it's in a very dangerous high-crime neighborhood that it was a safe oasis. If you do say there, make sure you keep your belongings on you or locked up and be ready to hear some sirens and police helicopters throughout the night. There's also a lot of homeless people in the area. Have fun but be safe fellow campers.

Clean, nice pools, convenient location if you need to be in town. You're certainly not paying for the views or peace & quiet! It would have been a perfectly good stay, but instead, we were treated like petty thieves. Some of the machines in the laundry were faulty. They would dump the detergent and spin but not actually fill with water. We wasted $6. A member of staff happened to come in and gave us $2.50 back. We said we needed another $3.50 back, and she acted huffy and said we would need to speak to somebody else. Went to the front desk and told them what happened and were aggressively interrogated - as if we were trying to swindle them out of $3.50! We got our $3.50 back, but wow, we were treated like con artists instead of guests. She even radioed a maintenance guy to check if the machines were acting up, and we clearly heard him say they were. She almost seemed disappointed that she hadn't caught us red-handed! The most expensive laundry we've ever used, on top of that. We were going to extend our stay by one day because the kids loved the pool. After that performance, though, we decided against it. So, thanks to extremely unpleasant staff, KOA lost a night's payment over $3.50.

Omg, we don't know how to express how happy we are to have chosen this place. Attentive and friendly staff. The RV park has a very good location, is nice and clean. If I could I would give it more than five stars because this place is better than any other RV park. We are very happy to have chosen this place. We highly recommend it!

Very friendly staff and very nice campsites. We had a fenced in yard with nice furniture and fruit tree which provided shade. Don't miss going to the restaurant the food was great and priced reasonably. Pool area was clean and inviting. The only thing that you should be aware of is there is train tracks and you get occasionally noise from the train. I would have given it a five stars but the train woke me up at 5:30 two of the three days in our stay. You are also five minutes away from the Pima Air and Space museum. It's a must see and be sure to take the tram out to see the collection of planes.
