Sat at the sushi bar and Phoenix and Alan were really helpful in selecting fresh nigiri. Best bite was the GSK roll which was nice and spicy but crisp and refreshing. Advise to try without soy sauce as the sauce they came in was great. Best sushi I have had in south jordan out of 4 places. Will be back!

I moved here after living in Japan for 4 years, and Tsunami's sushi hits the spot 🔥. The quality of fish is fresh and rice is decent. The combo of flavors and specialty rolls are great. They have a good variety of non sushi items + gluten free options too. Only con I would say is that it can be pricey. But sometimes you need to pay up for freshness and quality. I've had several poor sushi experiences in Utah and Tsunami isn't one of them. Go and enjoy! Rolls I like... The executive, Cococabana, Something Tropical, etc.

Very high quality, fresh, fish, sushi, sashimi. Quite busy during lunch on a Thursday, but no wait to be seated. Good specials. So many menus items to choose from. Very attentive staff!

I had an amazing experience at this sushi restaurant. The interior design was incredibly trendy and hip, evoking a aesthetically casino-inspired atmosphere. This unique ambiance sets it apart from your typical sushi spot. The cuisine was nothing short of spectacular, offering sushi of exceptional quality. While the king salmon was listed on the special menu, we were informed that it was not yet available when we ordered. However, our server, Brooklyn, was outstanding. She warmly welcomed us, engaged us in delightful conversation, and made us feel at home. Her personable nature and exceptional service made her a true asset to the business. I sincerely thank the restaurant for providing such a wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to town. I highly recommend paying a visit to this establishment.

Among my favorite spots to visit! I've eaten better miso soup elsewhere, but not from them. I also adore their Agadashi Tofu very much. These are just a few of the numerous things from their menu that I've tasted. There's always nice service and delicious sushi. The high-quality meal makes up for the somewhat expensive pricing.

I’m not much of a sushi eater, but I love Tsunami’s teriyaki steak and the Hot Mamba roll. I typically order their combo lunch box for takeout during the work week, but stopped by tonight for dinner. Our waitress Brooklyn provided excellent, attentive service. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Overall, we had a great experience. I highly recommend making reservations online as it tends to get very busy.

It never gets old. Visited again after 2 years and the quality keeps up. Reserving a table ahead of time on OpenTable helps with the rush hour always. The menu is wide and meets the needs every palate for sure. And given the consistency of quality one need not worry about what trumps another. I stick to my vegetarian section though and can pretty much order one of every item before I can say I am done. They are that good. If you haven’t tried Tsunami you are missing the best storm of your life!

🍣 selection is top notch but strangely, I come to this place for their baby back ribs baby! These are the best tasting ribs I’ve ever had. Mango cheesecake was delicious too but quite small for a grown man :)
