Tsunami of Harbison - Japanese restaurant in Columbia - 1290 Bower Pkwy, USA

The food and service were pretty good!! My server was very attentive!! I ordered the NY strip and shrimp hibachi, spring rolls, and fried cheesecake. The only complaint was there were only 8 chunks of steak in the dish, and I expected more for the price. The peach martini was delicious, and the sweet tea was also delicious!

We decided to dine in and both our food and customer service was amazing. The servings were huge.

Great waitress. Disgusting food- spent $80 on tuna appetizer and two sushi rolls I just put in a to go box not to cause a stir that I later ended up tossing. Flies all around our table and sticky gross table. Did send a drink back...waitress was kind about it and said she didn't blame me and could tell I hadn't touched it after 1st sip and said she has multiple complaints about bartender....it was a simple dirty martini 🤦‍♀️

I really enjoyed Tsunami . I arrived right at happy hour. There were drink specials . $2 bottle beer $4 cocktail ( Lucky Me ! ) The Sushi was fare priced , and delicious . The crab stuffed wantons , amazing . Overall great service , and experience. I definitely recommend...

Saturday night so called in to see wait time (called 5-6 times) — no answer, we thought they been closed. Road by, they were open and not busy at all I might add. Went inside young lady at the front desk was on her personal phone. I asked her why they weren’t answering the store phone, she said they were. I said I called 5-6 times. She didn’t have anything to say. Asked for manager and he apologizes and says “you know.. teenagers” and shrugged. Baby, my bill was $100+ ain’t no way. The food was amazing and service was ok. Didn’t come back until food was done, had to ask for refills and waited 10-15 mins after eating for check , husband had to get up and get the waiter so we could check out Definitely won’t eat in anymore will just do take out

Do NOT come to this location! Please go to the one on Gervais street and save your self the time and money. I ordered the black dragon and godzilla roll, both are fried. When I got them, they were soggy, the eel on top was barley cooked, slimy, I ate a 4 pieces and stopped. When I called the manager he was extremely rude and tried to talk over me and cut me off numerous times. He offered to remake it but i just wanted my money back. They said since I ate more then 2 pieces they could not refund for the whole item, and i needed to bring it back to the restaurant. He refunded me for one sushi roll and I felt sick all night. The location on Gervais is GREAT! I've NEVER had a problem with my food there, make the drive downtown do not come here!

Food was great, timing was horrible. My GF ordered sushi and the server brought her plate. We waited another 10-12 minutes for my hibachi plate. Unacceptable. Serve the whole table at once when the food's ready please.

Came in around 6 on a Thursday night. It was very slow and that seemed a bit concerning. We had a seat by the bar and our waitress came right over. It was happy hour so we all ordered some drinks. Opted for an app while we chose our meals. The Spicy grilled edamame was so good! The sushi was fresh and quite good. We were very happy with our first meal here and will be back I am sure.
