Our favorite Tex-Mex food find in Waco, so far! I had the Enchiladas verdes and they were delicious. We’ve visited twice and both times we had excellent and friendly service. Will definitely return to try more of their dishes and take advantage of their great drink specials.
To be 100% honest, it's been roughly 25 years since I've dined here. As soon as I took a bite of my food, it was like never leaving. Just delicious. I'm definitely coming back and certainly much quicker this time around. I had a Mexican dinner which consists of a cheese enchilada and 2 tamales covered in sauce. It was just perfect. It wasn't crowded, maybe around half capacity, wasn't too loud, and I just really enjoyed my dinner. My fiancé felt the same. She's a little picky, but it's nice to know we now have another option in the bag when we go out.
Trujillo’s on the circle really were gracious and amazing recently when I quickly realized I had a real need for a good place to have a family together after the service of their loved one Garlene Corley Shelton. She grew up in Waco and I know she would have loved knowing we thoroughly enjoyed the staffs 110% service for all to enjoy that time here with many of her out of town loved ones and local friends as well!! 🙏🏼❤️ Special thanks for the Trujillo family, ALL the staff!
Our waitress went above & beyond & was so kind to us. She put up with our shenanigans & even gave us tips on when our favorite dishes were on sale. We'll be back. Love the tacos! Chips & salsa were good too.
This place is AMAZING!! Never been here before & Not only was the staff friendly but great on customer skills. Not to mention the waitress went all her way out to make sure that we were comfortable and that we need anything throughout the visit. The food was freshly-made & delicious. Not only did my business partner and my fiance enjoy the big red Margarita but the food is at a great price love this place will be coming back.
Everything was just bad. It was like being at the DMV!! Everything was slow, service, drinks, food. We were there 2hrs. Tea had some kind of oil residu had to return it. Wife asked for no onions in her cheese enchiladas had to send it back, then our waitress caught an attitude over it. It was just all bad. Wouldn't recommend
Just make your Big Red margaritas at home cause they don't want you there. Took over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged and get our name on the list. Half the tables were empty but no one seemed to care about about it. One of the owners was rolling silverware and could have cared less. Sad to see this long time Waco favorite fall so far.
We love Trujillos so much, it is now our favorite Mexican restaurant. We ate there the first time November 11/2023 and again on November 15th 2023. Excellent food at affordable prices. Very friendly and caring atmosphere.
