True North Motel & Storage - Hotel in Colorado Springs - 2105 E Platte Ave, USA

Positive: This is coolest little family owned motel it's so cozy and exceptionally clean on a quiet location. I liked it better then any fancy high cost motel. There is the cutest little flower garden with a little path to walk through and check it out. Negative: ""

Lady running the place was sweet as a peach but the motel itself is pretty rough. Guy who was clearly renting by the week with his Harley disassembled in front of his room was kinda odd, when he started trying to fire it up at midnight it got annoying real quick.

I called and told him I would be bringing service dog and son so could see a concert across the street.|I said I would be leaving the service dog in the room when I went to the show.|He said ok 25$ deposit.I said he's my service dog,we don't have to pay that|He said do you have paperwork,I want to see it.|I was like ok....that's illegal and duscriminatory,but ok.|I sent it to him,he said it wasn't goid enough and that I had to have a cage fir my dog.He kept tey8ng to get me to disclose my medical condition or it was a no deal.|This is how this business treats the handy capped.|I would avoid it.|My email is mm1974mee@ g mail .com|If anyone has any advice.

I had a 'Basic Queen' room (unit 5). It was very basic - small, clean with a decent bed, shower, microwave and coffee maker (didn't try the last two). Old decor and furnishings, no hanger space for clothes, found the wifi signal but it didn't reach that room. If you just need a bed and a shower, it's fine.

Do not stay here. They will waste your time and money! I literally made a reservation at 7:30 am.keep calling this motel from 7:30 am until 11:30 when a lady finally answered the phone.Asked the lady if they required a deposit. The lady told me yes. A fifty dollar deposit. Asked the lady if I could pay the deposit in cash. She stated that I could. The lady asked me if I had a reservation. I told her yes. She asked me my name and I told her my name. She said she seen the reservation. Told the lady I would check-in around 7 pm. Fast forward from me driving all the way from Boulder, get to the hotel at 7:08 pm. Try to check in and they tell me that I have no reservation and they never talked to me. Now we have no where to stay. This place is trash and I would never stay there. The front desk lady didn't even answer the phone for the first three attempts upon us arriving at the hotel. Don't waste your money!!

This is such a cute little motel. Very homey. A sitting area with table and chairs with a full kitchen. Queen size bed with tv. Nice shower. Plenty of towels and linens. No smoking. I chose this motel because it is a 15 minute walk to the hospital my son is in. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it is. And the owners were so friendly.

The rooms were okay not the best, the manager is unprofessional and unethical. Environment was awful. Cops were crowed around that place yelling over the speaker for hours. I would give this a zero if I could. Would never recommend anyone go here. This place was not safe, nor welcoming. It was a very dramatic and stressful experience. Hands down the worst and most uncomfortable place I've stayed in!!!

I stood here for a bit since I was exhausted from a rough day at work, but had to check out early due to getting sick and needing to go to the hospital. (No worries, I didn't get sick from this place) Manager was understanding and easy to communicate with, the room was simple, freshly cleaned and had everything I needed. The only issue I had was checking out, manager wasn't around and I needed to go. Makes me wish they would keep a "key box" or something for those who need to check out and can't find anyone. But it's not a major issue. All and all, I'd stay here again if I was looking to rest up or whatever.
