Tru by Hilton Shepherdsville Louisville South - Hotel in Shepherdsville - 191 Centre Dr, USA

The staff was super friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome. Love the lobby space, cool place to hang out and play Jenga or rack some balls and shoot some pool. Very clean hotel. We did not mind the size of the room. After all, we just need a place to sleep for the night. Our only complaint about the room was that it had an odd smell, not terrible but not good either. The room kinda smelled like stale tea. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay and the rate was a great last minute but economical grab. I "truly" end the bed and bedding. I'm a texture person 🤷🏾‍♂️. I've stayed at Tru a couple of times before. It's not my favorite but definitely in the top 10.

These hotels are new to the Hilton family. They have a trendy hipster vibe to them. I found the room to be small. When you first walk in it feels like you're walking into a dorm room from your college days. The place is decorated with bright colors all over the place. It's a nice hotel that has a plug in every corner of the place so charging your devices won't be a problem. I also like the touch kiosk in the lobby that lets you explore the area. Very handy and thoughtful. Over all it was a nice stay. Oh, if you stay on the fourth or fifth of July ask for a 3rd or 4th floor room on the back. We were treated to a free fireworks show from our window.

Easy to get to off of I-65. Far enough outside of Louisville to avoid heavy traffic but close enough to get to most attractions fairly quickly. Front desk staff was helpful and nice and the rooms are nice, clean and well appointed. I would stay here again.

We recently stayed at this hotel during a visit to the Louisville area. It’s located on the south side of Louisville, away from the city but it was only a 15-20 minute drive to Churchill Downs. It’s a newer hotel and very nice and clean with multiple amenities, including a 24/7 self-serve lounge, a room to hang out, and a friendly staff. One thing we found odd for a newer hotel - we could periodically hear footsteps from the guest in the room above ours for some reason. We blamed it on the linoleum flooring. The only real knock about this hotel is the location if you’re looking for good restaurants/bars - there simply aren’t any nearby. We paid $165(inc. taxes) but it was on a Friday night. Parking is free and on-site and the daily breakfast was good. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was very clean. The beds were not comfortable at all. I felt like I was sleeping on a rock. The people above our room had kids running and jumping all night long. This is a super clean hotel, but I got no rest so I probably will not stay here again.

Misty.. misty made this stay awesome. She has a great personality and very fun to be around great for the front desk. Thank you for having her. We enjoyed talking with her and chatting with her. Very pleasant to be around and I travel a lot of work and She has one of the best personalities I’ve seen in a while. Thank you

This was the only place with rooms in town because I happened to be there during a golf event. One staff person began to check me in, asked for my ID and payment, set it down, and tapped away at the computer for several minutes. No progress was made and another staffer took over. After several minutes she asked for my ID and payment (that was already sitting on the counter). Anyone ever wonder what's going on with these hotel computers? It's as if they're engaged in quantum physics but occasionally take on the task of tracking hotel rooms. I mean really, why is it so hard? It shouldn't take 10-15 minutes to do the only thing anyone who ever walks into a hotel needs to do.
