Tru by Hilton Port St. Lucie Tradition - Hotel in Port St. Lucie - 11560 SW Village Pkwy, USA

This is a pretty new hotel; the design is nice, very modern, and breakfast is like a continental breakfast. Our room was nice and clean, the soap and shampoo are on dispensers on the wall which makes it very organized even though one of the bath towels felt newer than the other one. I did not like the pillows, all 4 pillows we had were overly soft, they felt like they were balled up inside, it didn't feel like having a pillow when going to bed. I think they should always have 2 pillow options, one soft and one firmer for the client to choose from. The mattress sheet was sticking out in a corner and was suspiciously wrinkled which made me think that maybe it wasn't changed it from the previous guest. The shower head design looked very cheap and the water pressure in the shower and sink was very low. Something that caught my attention was the uniform that makes the employees look like they are guests. Their uniform is not a consistent uniform, all employees had jean pants of different shades, and a T-Shirts or sweatshirts with the hotel logo that would stand out so much. To me, this uniform looks more like a team that is going to do volunteer work outdoors, it doesn't look like a hotel uniform. The check-in was very quick and again, the employees' uniform confuses you because you don't know if you are dealing with an employee or a guest. The hotel itself is nice since it is new hotel and looks well maintained for now.

Overall, liked the hotel for the price and convenience. Nothing fancy or luxurious about it...just functional. CONS - for this reason, I will not stay here again (had 3 more stays booked and they are all cancelled now). While having breakfast, we witnessed a homeless woman come in and go straight to the buffet to prepare her bagel with bacon and cream cheese. This woman was beyond filthy. She walked in the front door and went to the food that paying guests eat without washing her hands. God knows how long it has been since she even showered. I was totally shocked and disgusted. Furthermore, after fixing up her bagel with ALL the fixings (these homeless people are picky) she looked around for bottled water but there is none at this hotel. She went into the soda case and pulled one out. We thought she was stealing food but as she was leaving she went to the front desk clerk (a woman MANAGER) and told here thanks for the food and soda. The manager gave her a quick nod and she was on her way. I was appalled. I have nothing against homeless people and she probably was hungry and it is clear she comes there all the time. However, PAYING guests should not have to experience that. Prepare her food and drink for her and meet here outside to give it to her. Also, the man who monitors the buffet uses the same cloth to wipe dirty tables, wipe up the buffet, etc. That is unsanitary. The hotel also has the worst water pressure. It is clear they are being frugal. Soap, shampoo and conditioner bottles are never filled up and are impossible to squeeze, especially for older guests with arthritis. Showers should have handheld shower heads. Will be booking at another hotel.

It was on a main road, but the area around it seemed odd, though I'm not sure why it appeared that way to me. The room had everything necessary for a comfortable night, though it was a little light on hanging space. It was decorated in a modern, almost minimalist style. The location was good for the friends we visited and the restaurant we went to with them. Check-in/out was simple and fast, and breakfast was satisfying.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was small but very comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and super clean. The staff were pleasant and very kind. Levi, who checked me in, was very patient and answered my questions with a smile. If I have to return to the area, I will, without a doubt, stay at this location. Very pleased.

Hotel is in a good location. Overly nice staff, basic hotel style warm breakfast comfortable room with paper think walls. Heard someone snoring on one side and someone sleeping the the TV on all night on the other.

Great place to stay in the Port St Lucie/Tradition area. Maybe a year old but very well-kept and feels brand new. The rooms were clean and the bedding was super comfortable. Nice breakfast that was kept well stocked during breakfast hours. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can't ask for much else.

It is a really nice place, fairly new so everything looks nice. Staff is friendly. The water pressure in the bathroom sink is absolutely useless. The shower pressure is fine so idk what the issue is. I’ve stayed in different rooms so I assume it’s the whole hotel.

Not too bad but should definitely be less expensive, considering the marijuana odor...granted, if people didn't smoke in this hotel, it would be worth it. I know they are not allowed to smoke but housekeeping and the night staff didn't do anything bout it, so while it's not allowed, its also not a big deal.
