Tru by Hilton Pompano Beach Pier - Hotel in Pompano Beach - 200 N Ocean Blvd, USA

Let me start by saying that this was the first time I truly had so much fun while staying in Pompano Beach. I came to visit my parents who live there and they decided to get me a room at Tru By Hilton to make it easier for my little girls to enjoy the beach. Staff is absolutely amazing. Whether we walked by the lobby or passed by the front desk, Moe greeted us you with a big bright smile. Always asked if there was anything else he could do to make our stay unforgettable . All the staff was helpful, and arranged any minor issues to be addressed immediately. Did I say breakfast included ? A large variety of everything. Tiffany was beyond this world wonderful. She always made sure that my family and I were taken care of and were tummy happy. Pool in the hotel is kids friendly. Also don’t forget to check out the rooftop 😃 What I loved the most is that beach is a few steps away and if you have kids there is a playground across the street. Perfect hotel , perfect location. ( everything you need is right there ) Even though my parents live in pompano beach, they are planning to make it a habit and book this hotel more often.

Sebastian, Val and Vance were WONDERFUL!!! Went above and beyond in correcting an issue with our booking & were very helpful with providing information we need to make our visit great! Hotel was very clean, great location to the beach. Roof top & breakfast staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast is way better than some other hotels, l liked that the sausage was chicken sausage. Loved the balcony! The hot tub wasn't as warm as it should have been but other than that this hotel is GREAT!

Sebastien was absolutely AMAZING! He was welcoming and very informative! He recommended the food and drinks! He gave me gave the perfect room! We were celebrating my husband’s birthday! I really enjoyed my stay! The beds are comfortable and the location is perfect for beach fun! I’m coming back with our girls!

The service staff was excellent! Friendly and eager for us to have a positive experience. Professionalism was extraordinary. ||Room was very comfortable with a great view from 5th floor balcony. Smallish but had all the needed amenities (frig, soaps, big TV, etc.). Good breakfast with protein and carb options. Rooftop bar had a great view with daily happy hour specials. Covered parking garage was next door with validated by the hotel parking. Hotel was close to shops, fishing pier, and lifeguard-monitored beach. Easy 5 minute walk. Tiki bar with music too! Not sure there’s anything else you could want or need for a couple days at the beach. ||My only recommendation is that the housekeeping staff make sure that in room alarm clocks are off when they clean. Ours went off at 6:00 AM which put an abrupt end to my otherwise restful sleep.

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. The linen in the room was disgusting and smelled like mold. I had to call 3 times for fresh pillows for them to be replaced with dirty pillows. There was absolutely no storage space. The room was extremely small for 2 people. There were no towels and had to keep calling for towels. The complimentary breakfast was old, overcooked in the microwave and disgusting. Our experience at the rooftop was terrible. The waitress Victoria was extremely combative and confrontational. We told her the patron shots were watered down and she took it upon herself to bring the bartender over who was combative as well. As we told them to leave it alone they continued to push the issue. The waiter Kel at the roof top was incredibly friendly but was treated like crap by staff. Kel was the reason we went back to the roof top on Sunday. We were extremely disappointed with our interactions with the roof top staff. There were no towels by the pool. Another positive experience was when we checked out with Vance. This was my first trip to FL and my worst hotel experience. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton Hotel again.

My stay Tru Hilton was lovely. The rooms were clean and very ergonomic, having just the right amount of storage for one person. The hotel is right across from Pompano Beach and Pier which was a nice treat while visiting on business. The pool was cute and quiet and the roof top restaurant and bar was the icing on the cake. The staff was very lovely and welcoming. Vance and others took very good care of me! Will definitely be staying here again.

Front desk staff, particularly Vance, were extremely helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and our needs were met beyond’s expectations. Can’t wait to go back to this hotel. The best hotel experience I had in a long time. Possibly the best ever. Thanks to the staff.

Nice hotel in a great location - front desk staff were super friendly and helpful from the beginning. When we got to our room we discovered the A/C unit had leaked all over the floor - I called the front desk and they immediately put us in a new room without hesitation - we were even upgraded to a larger room. |Rooms are comfortable and have added conveniences of shampoo, conditioner body wash in the large shower, along with a small refrigerator. Everything was very clean and had a modern design, and there’s plenty of space.|Breakfast every morning was top notch, and Tiffany was amazing - such great service, and so friendly!|There were a couple of areas for improvement which is why I gave 4 stars rather than 5. First, the WiFi is advertised as ‘high speed’ but it is not. My speed test put it at under 2Mbps which is slow by any standard. |Another area for improvement is the pricing at the hotel. There’s really no reason to fleece people - particularly guests - for everything from items at the convenience store to food and drink at the bar. There are plenty of places in town with reasonable deals - I would avoid the rooftop bar unless you have money to burn (you can find the menu and prices online). I feel like hotel guests should get a discount in order to keep their business - you can walk two blocks to much cheaper and equally nice places.|Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.
