Great location to visit family. Rachel (hope I got the name right) at the front desk was outstanding. Very friendly, competent and helpful. Liked the modern look of the hotel lobby. All staff was friendly and seemed to like working here. That's a indication of good management. Room was clean, quiet, beds were very comfortable. Nice large shower, water drips onto floor around door which could be a slip problem. Room could use some artwork on walls to not feel so bare. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've had. Displayed nicely, several options and very clean. Only thing missing was bacon. Complimentary coffee was great tasting and always fresh. There was a big water leak in the hallway leading to our room and hopefully it gets fixed asap. We'd gladly stay here again when traveling through the area.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! I have been traveling to Gilbert for work once a month for a year and a half. Every visit to this hotel has been great. Clean rooms, great location, and very friendly staff. Shoutout to Marcus at the front desk (I hope I remembered his name correctly)!! I stayed here for a work trip in April after recently breaking my foot and was completely non-weight bearing. Marcus went out of his way to personally check rooms for me to ensure they would meet my needs. It was so appreciated! He went above and beyond! Thank you!

The beds were pretty hard, and blackout curtains would be an amazing idea to add as the blinds don't do jack. Breakfast could be better as well. Amazing front desk and staff. Rooms were very clean and location was great.

Left a newly purchased item in hotel room day of checkout, they wouldn’t allow us to extend to a late checkout, so we could head back to hotel later to get the item, called back to see if they could ship me the item. After speaking with reception, no one called back, so the item was either stolen by housekeeping or reception was too lazy to follow up.

Hotel okay and good deal. Checked in and went to room however turned out to be occupied. Guest services didn’t seem to know what was going on. If it wasn’t so tired, would have left and went to another hotel. Stayed the night in town tonight for another work trip, and even though that was the cheapest hotel in the area, paid more money as to not have to deal with that nonsense again.

Great location for food and restaurant spenders. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms in the room were not refreshed of essential shower items. Quiet enough environment that I slept uninterrupted. The breakfast assortment in the morning is wonderful and they offer a great variety of snacks to purchase on the side. Family friendly place with friendly staff. To the staff: the towels I got from a refresh were thinning out.

I've absolutely fallen in love with this hotel, this is my second stay at the Gilbert Tru and I've stayed at the El Paso Tru. Top notch property, very modern and the staff is as professional and friendly as it gets. I work in hospitality and Tru is a perfect example on how to provide stellar customer service.

Our AC went out in 115 degree temps and we retreated here. Room are small and minimalist, there is no dresser and no closet, but it does have a small desk, and a hanging rack for things. Honestly - for our purposes, it worked just fine, but if you know what your walking into, you can manage. Bathroom was clean and well stocked, and beds were comfortable and clean. AC works AWESOME. The Lobby is the real kicker. You're encourage to hang out and work or play. There's a pool table and many different seating areas. Our family did homework and ate dinner in the lobby, and then played for awhile before heading to bed. Coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby and an ice machine and bottle filler with filtered water were available on the first floor. Breakfast was solid - cereal, pastry's, bacon and eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, juice. Lobby also has semi-private workspaces, loads of outlets and power everywhere. If the AC isn't fixed tonight, we are coming back.
