We stayed here for Labor Day weekend 2024. I was very impressed with how nice ALL of the staff was. From the front desk, to the breakfast crew, and even housekeeping. Everyone said “Good morning “ or said hello to you. They were attentive to us when we ran out of shampoo and brought more right up to our room. I am very happy with our stay!
Briana is excellent. I have never been to breakfast at hotel that had an exciting person in charge of dining room. She made sure to welcome everyone with such great spirit. Our family ranges from 7 -80 and she made sure to make them all feel special and help start our vacation on the right foot.
This place is great and is about to get better. Service was flawless. Each and every time I needed something, they quickly resolved.
The hotel is quiet. Continental breakfast for all.
Rooms are a good size, great TV, and AC. Good blackout curtains and perfect walk-in shower. Small working desk and mini fridge ironing board and coffee maker in room. It's great that there are plenty of updated power outlets throughout the room.
Excellent swimming pool and gym area. Great secure gated parking lot for $30 a day. Common areas are updated and comfortable.
Location is fantastic close to many things in Fort Lauderdale. Walkability great during day, at night, it can get weird w many homeless throughout Fort Lauderdale, and this is close to downtown and bars area, so their volume is higher here.
But huge value and excellent experience overall, this became one of my favorite hotels in Fort Lauderdale.
First impressions are everything and my first impression of their customer service was not great. We were staying here after leaving a cruise so had to wait a long while before checking in on 8/30. Eventually, we decided to call around 2pm to see if there was a possibility for early check in. They said to try again in an hour. We called back and the staff was rude on the phone but said there was “nothing at this time”. We decided to just show up anyway and wait in the lobby if nothing was available still. We arrived about 15 minutes after that call during a shift change. The first thing I saw is one of the female employees that was ending her shift playing/standing on top of a luggage cart on her phone and laughing with the other employees. We weren’t really acknowledged until walking directly to the counter. There was another employee who looked to be at the end of her shift behind the counter with 2 other woman and a gentleman named Marcus who assisted us. Marcus was nice enough. He checked us in no problem which is odd considering we were just told there was nothing available for early check in…
I also had an issue seeing the service provided by both women behind the counter. I overheard a women checking in a gentleman who didn’t speak English well. When he asked for his room #, instead of just telling him while writing it down, she instructed him to open the key card envelope and it’ll tell him the room number. Immediately after, a woman walked over to the other woman to check in. That employee told her they are in the middle of a shift change and she’ll be with her soon. Meanwhile, the other female employee I mentioned that just finished checking in the guy was literally standing there. Neither said anything until the woman walked away from the desk and then she addressed her and asked if she could help her as if she didn’t just hear this interaction. I thought that was odd and very unwelcoming and childish behavior coming from the staff. We avoided going back down there if we could after checkin. We also parked in the front to check in and get the parking pass for the garage. We came back out to angry people waiting for us to move our car so they can get around us. Seems like they need a better place to park/check in without blocking the way.
Outside of this first impression, the stay was nice. The room was pretty and clean. It’s not a quiet place to stay. The doors are loud and you can hear anytime someone opens/closes doors. It took a while for the elevator to reach the 15th floor where we were during breakfast hours. Breakfast was a zoo but it was a good breakfast. Brianna was fantastic and very friendly. We braved going to the front desk again to request a late checkout which surprisingly was granted. It’s unfortunate that my first impression was as bad as it was because this could have easily been a 5 star review.
My family absolutely loves this hotel. They have several boards along with pool table and Foosball table. The bar food is good and reasonable. Pool is clean and well maintained. They have the BEST breakfast. So many options. There's always coffee available. The staff is so nice and welcoming. Shernette is a ball of sunshine in the morning. Make sure to give her a raise and keep her around.
Booked via Hilton for around 176$US a night for 3 nights.||arrived in the evening and room was ready. The look is moder and very close to aloft in vibe. Very modern and minimal, yet chic. Queen bed, cool patterned blinds, large wall mounted LCD TV with some streaming, fridge, clean bathroom with shower.||Breakfast was good, with varied items each day (sausage one day, gravy and biscuits another day) , always scrambled eggs, waffles, fruits, yogurts. ||Pool was nice with lots of kid friendly areas (big chess board!), Spartiate gym with some cardio and weights.||Location was good to walk to restaurants, public transit closeby and bike share (all e-bikes) about 10 minutes from hotel.
The location is good, rooms are nice with 2 options to choose 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. However, the check in they said will be around 4 PM which is a bit late and kills your day.
They offer complimentary breakfast which is good and has plenty of options.
A gym and swimming pool is an added facility.
Overall a nice stay. Location is only negative. It’s not close to anything and have to take an Uber pretty much anywhere I wanted to go.
Facilities were very nice for a budget hotel. Pool was great. Breakfast was great (hot food, many options), and I thought the fitness room was pretty decent for a hotel gym (good set of free weights and a pulley machine - though needs a straight bar).
Staff is friendly - especially the breakfast team. One woman, Shernette, stood out in the “above and beyond” category. She was extremely friendly every morning. In this day and age, it’s not always easy to find individuals who genuinely love their jobs. Shernette’s kindness and energy was infectious and I’m sure she helped set a happy tone for many traveler’s mornings.
