Tru by Hilton Fayetteville Fort Liberty - Hotel in Fayetteville - 507 N McPherson Church Rd, USA

Room with 2 queen size beds was small for 4 people. House keeping never changed dirty towels/washcloths when needed and by asking after we left room. I had to keep going to front desk to provide what I needed for family. They have a sign on bathroom window that says, every other day with service but we stay 5 days and not one time House keeper came to change linens or towels. To top that lucky I always provide my own soap because the room does provide soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion but again House keeper nevered checked to see if it needed any refills. Told front desk staff, not sure if they really care but service wasn't never provided. I wouldnt stay here again. My family tolerated because it was close to a family gathering by visiting, so we dealt with the nonsense and other hotels around us didn't have 2 queen beds only 1 king or some didn't have any rooms available. Would I recommend, No! Not from my experience. Front desk personal needs to be friendlier especially when you address your issues by staying. First time and last time. Good luck to whom stays here. Upon arriving staff was friendly and the hotel seemed to be in good condition. Upon going to our room, it was clean, somewhat sparse, but had an odor of what we think was the surfaces being cleaned with dirty rags. We turned on the AC and it helped with the smell. Water pressure was not good and if you used the body wash it was near impossible to was off - the squeeze soap dispensers were off - but did like the lemon scent. Breakfast had an okay offering and the attendant was attentive to the offerings. ||Thankfully, it was only a one night stay because as we were checking out, there was a roach outside our door. Probably should have went with another option.

Great location, right next to an Outback, Chuck E Cheese, and Hooters. Tru's are always clean, they have a fitness center and breakfast. The ac in the building must have been out during my stay since the halls felt like they were 90 degrees, luckily my room stayed a cool 62.

I would've given 5 stars but the front desk manager Kayce/ Casey was very rude, dismissive and unprofessional. I stay at Tru every time I come to fayetteville. Never had any issues. This time however was different. I called the front desk because my Netflix/ TV wasn't working at all. This women said :" I'm not IT what do you want me to do about it?" In shock I looked at my the phone and said :" EXCUSE ME?". She said :" you called the front desk, I'm not IT but I can give you their number!" I then said:" Is Clarence available?" He was the nice gentleman who checked me is. Front desk said:" what does he have to do with anything?" AM I being punk'd or what's going on here? I will no longer stay at that location. |I called the front desk to see if I could get a late checkout (11:30 instead of 11:00) she said:" unfortunately you're not a Hilton Member, those perks are for members only! I've been a Hilton Honors Member since 2014! Smdh

The hostel staff was great! LuLu and Erica at the front desk were prompt and courteous with the service. The rooms were clean. The lobby stayed stock with coffee and tea 24 hours. ||The location is is great for finding things to do and eat. There is a steakhouse right next door to the facility. They also have a burger place within walking distance.||The mall is 5 minutes away by car. You can access I-95 connections within 7 minutes. I will consider staying here again.

Please do not stay at this hotel. If you’re military and you’re like, hey, this is the only place that has the military rate. I would encourage you to pay a little bit more out-of-pocket to stay at a better hotel. There’s literally garbage in the bed, cup stains on all of the countertops. I don’t even know if this room was actually cleaned. The air conditioning doesn’t even work. The room stays at 77°. Super uncomfortable. Even though it’s a Hilton, do not be fooled, it’s one of the low end properties. You’re better staying at one of the Marriott properties nearby, or the Hilton Garden Inn next door if this is the location you’re looking for.

I was there for business 26-28 March 2024. After check in we had to identify ourselves as Hilton Members (which clerk already knew) and had to ask for bottled water. The room was nice but had some issues. The air conditioner was set to 75, tried to cool the room and it only wanted to stay on 75. Later the air conditioner started to rattle so bad it got me out of bed three times in the middle of the night, so eventually just had to shut it off. The shower water was so weak it took forever to take a shower. The toilet was not secured to the floor, it wobbled back and forth. The door handle to the room was just hanging by a thread. I told the front desk, and no one ever came to fix the door. The breakfast was ok, the eggs were chopped so fine that you had to use a spoon to eat them. The bacon was soggy. Way too many issues for a new hotel. It would also be nice to have a sitting area outside. The two benches at the entrance are not enough to have friends hang out and interrupts with people checking in. Recommend the owner address these issues to keep from losing customers.

Friendly staff. No dresser, no microwave, no coffee makers in room. Wheelchair accessible shower where water ran out of bathroom, under door and into room. Probably why room isn't carpeted. There's a young man there named Africa who is an exceptional asset to thus hotel. He smiles and acknowledges you when passing by rather than looking away like others. He fixed our door when key card didn't work and you could tell he was good at what he does and enjoys his work. This young man should be promoted and groomed to manage a hotel himself.
