Tru by Hilton Columbia Greystone - Hotel in Columbia - 185 Stoneridge Dr, USA

Very pleased with our recent stay! We are almost always Marriott guests but decided to stay at Tru this past trip. Everything was great. Treats and toys for our dog, yummy hot breakfast and very clean, nicely appointed room. All staff members were pleasant and helpful. I want to make note that Marco was exceptional! Knowing that I run, and our last day was very rainy, he said he’d make sure the gym/treadmill was extra clean for me! He was always kind to me and my dog during our stay!

Hotel was nice. Breakfast was fresh with good options. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Downsides: Bed linens were lacking and could not get the heat to come on. Room was overly minimalistic with no closet, extra linens, carpet, microwave, or coffee pot. We would recommend for cheap but nice overnight stay but nothing longterm.

I had a really good experience. The lady at the front desk had so much energy and she was so willing to help I couldn't even believe it. there was a mistake when I pre booked the hotel, the lady at the front desk corrected it very quickly. I was checked in very fast. I really really really love the front check-in area. there is a pool table. there is a mini bar that is open pretty much all night long. there's really nice snacks. there's hot meals that you can purchase and cook. Me being a traveling DJ this is definitely a great hotel to stay at in a really good price.

Positive: I would have to say our stay at Tru Hilton was very good even though we only stayed one night. Our host were very nice and answered any questions we had. The room was clean and accommodating. Their breakfast I thought was very good. Negative: Pets staying there especially when they are wet from the rain.

Have stayed a few times over the last couple month. Rooms are clean, breakfast is good. They have board games, a pool table, dog treats, and dog toys in the lobby. Any issues are resolved quickly. Most of the front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I ALWAYS read reviews when booking a hotel for the night. This was a nice clean stay. I really enjoyed quiet New Year’s Eve stay. Check in was quick and painless. I had a double queen an it was nice an clean for a hotel. Will be back.

This was our first time staying at a TRU Hotel, and we will certainly book one again. It is conveniently located at the top of the hill near Riverbank Zoo. The hotel is new, very clean, and every staff member we spoke with was kind and helpful. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast area was clean and well-stocked. There is a pool table and game area in the lobby. I responded to a survey after our stay, and the manager emailed to thank me. One of the things I look for in booking a hotel is whether management is responsive to reviews, so that was nice. All in all, it was a very positive experience. I would definitely stay there again.

For anyone with sensitivities around sleeping, this may not be the hotel for you. The people were nice and helpful. The location was very convenient to the beautiful zoo. But the mattress is thin and not pleasant for someone with back pain. The view from the window was not pretty. I’m a huge dog lover and really appreciate this hotel for welcoming dogs to stay there, but I did see one hotel guest carrying her dog in one arm while she went through the food line at breakfast, and her dog’s tail was too close to the food. Dogs (who I love!) should not be allowed that close to the food. I am still glad they allow dogs and don’t want to discourage that policy. It’s so important to be able to bring our dog family members to hotels. About breakfast, the pancake machine was very cool. I would have liked to see more fruit and muffins. I was especially grateful to have an accessible room with a tub I could use for pain management. The tub and shower were very nice. There is no coffee maker in the room so bring your own or be limited to coffee during breakfast hours. I don’t think there was a microwave son no way to get hot water for tea even. I would not stay there again unless I was in a pinch.
