Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Juice shop in Hardeeville - 468 D Mark Cummings Rd, USA

While I have been a big fan of Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a bit now, my last visit to the Hardeeville drive up was anything but smooth. I placed my order around 1 in the afternoon for a smoothie, was told to drive up to the window, sat at the window for approx. 15+ minutes while I watched 4 customers inside the shop place their orders and leave while I was still sitting there at the window. I beeped and tooted my car horn with no response, I then drove off. Not a productive way to handle the drive thru. Come on people, you can do better!!!!!

We came into this tropical smoothie with 23 people on our soccer team. They were so efficient and kind. Best TS team ever. GIVE THEM ALL RAISES

Although the hours online and on the door say they are open until 9pm, we arrived at the drive through at 8:37 and were told they were not serving food. I understand staffing issues, etc., it would just be nice of the hours could be accurate. If the staff has to spend 30 minutes cleaning and is not going to serve food , change your closing time to 8:30. Thanks!

My card was charged for someone else's order. Was missing a side and all my dillas were plain cheese which is not what was ordered. Woman at window was unprofessional.

Love this place but 3 times now I've had the smoothie lid pop off the cup and the Styrofoam cup crack in half. Nothing but me picking it up from my cup holder to take a sip, or in the last case, getting it from the drive through and going to set it in the cup holder. Last time it exploded all over me, my car and my purse. On my way into work... I had to work with a stained outfit and still trying to figure out when I can get my car detailed because it went into my controllers and gear shift. Although I love the taste, I think the 3rd time was the notice for me not to go any longer.

Placed an online order and found out that the lobby wasn’t open via a locked door (no signs). After my attempt to open the door, an employee promptly unlocked, let themselves in, and relocked the door without offering insight on the drive thru or simply addressing a clearly confused customer. After going through the drive thru, the same employee was less than cordial when passing over the order. One of the two smoothies were definitely made incorrectly, and no utensils for a salad were provided. Overall, they’d be individually insignificant, but together very inconvenient. I’m glad it’s not my local TSC.

Unfortunately this particular TS has been consistent in making very weak drinks. Tastes like they are almost watered down when compared to other TS locations in GA, SC, VA, etc. They seem to skimp on ingredients to make the smoothies. For this TS it has literally been every single stop, about a half dozen before I put it on the mental "no-go list".... 🤔

Smoothies taste great, but service is super slow. I live across the street and would recommend driving the extra 8 miles to the location on Fording Island Rd. Could be due to short staff, I don’t know. But the last 4 times I have Mobile ordered to this location it has taken between 15-25 additional minutes of waiting in the lobby for them to complete my order of 1-2 smoothies, no line, no hot food ordered. Just 2 smoothies and almost a half hour wait? Also, do not bother going through drive-through for a mobile order because they will just make you walk inside after waiting in the drive-through line. Again, smoothies are delicious but it’s a lengthy wait
