At the beginning of May, we had a reservation for three nights through Booking.com, we checked in at the front desk and were charged a deposit of $100. After finding out that the room was terrible, the beds were dirty and there were dead cockroaches on the floor and a live one running around, we immediately left for another hotel. The man at the front desk was very helpful and arranged a refund for our stay, that was the only nice thing about this hotel.
They are in the process of remodeling however they are very courteous and respectful of the times in which they begin working. The staff is great the pool is amazing and the rooms are very clean . I can't wait to see it all finished!! Great architecture with the pool in the center courtyard. I really enjoyed my stat. I will be returning for sure.
This was our 2nd stay here and it was like awful this time. The place has gone so far down hill its just sad. Me and my husband went for Valentine's night to have a night alone away from the kids... it wasn't worth it. | First of all, the rooms were dirty. We switched rooms 4 times before finding one we could tolerate but even that room was bad, our feet stuck to the floor, it looked like they used dirty old mop water to wipe everything down. You could see foot prints from the people before us IN EVERY ROOM WE LOOKED AT. There was what looked like a bleach spray area on the wall between the beds where the paint was a lighter faded color with streak marks.. one of the rooms we looked at the toilet even rocked.| Second of all, there was MOLD in every room we looked at, in the bathroom and in the corners of the room by the a/c unit. My husband is convinced they should be turned into the health department and he's probably right. | The rooms all had a weird smell which is probably due to the mold and dirt. | There's a coffee maker in the main lobby for free coffee in the morning but not in any of the rooms. There is no free breakfast, there is a Keurig but if you want that coffee you have to buy the pods. | And on top of ALL that.... they add a $100 charge to your card at check in as a security deposit. They do refund it but why bother, at this point there's no way to tell if someone left a mess or did anything to the rooms since its pretty much all crap. | The only thing good I can say is I didn't see any roaches thankfully. | The last time we stayed here (only 2 years ago) was a whole different experience. The staff was a thousand times nicer, they had free breakfast, coffee in the rooms, and while we were disappointed in the fact that they advertised a sauna but had filled it in at some point, we were happy with our stay. The rooms were clean, and it didn't smell. Is has obviously changed owners since then and the new owners apparently just don't care. There are lots of other hotels in this price range that are nicer, we chose this one this time based on our last stay here and will never do that again! |.... OH and I almost forgot to mention (the very least of the issues but will give you an idea of how bad this place is) the bathroom tissue box, and toilet paper rolls were all rusty and half of the room number plaques were missing and hand written.
The bathroom was horrible. Broken tiles in the shower. The toilet took for ever to flush. The beds were horrible. they had plastic on them and when you rolled around springs were popping. Asked the counter for new beds, none was available. No maid service until you checked out. They said they would give plastic bags for the garbage and extra towels. I would not recommend staying here.
My fiance and I have stayed at numerous hotels and have never received such great customer service. The front desk associate (Maryland) was very polite and we were treated with the utmost respect. All other staffing that we encountered were also extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the pool was amazing. I recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay there again. :)
I understand hotel has new owners and are currently renovating however, rooms with mold should not have been rented out or allowed to booked online. I had to switch rooms when a refund was refused due to mold in bathroom and even my ice bucket. They obviously do not update their online information because there is not a coffee maker in any of their rooms, no phones in their rooms and certainly no breakfast. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and sounded like they would break as they were very noisy just to sit down on. There is zero housekeeping during your stay, you're expected to take out your own trash and take used or soiled linens to the desk and exchange for fresh ones. Staff seems unable to accommodate guests without conta ting owners first. Most of the staff seem to lack basic customer service skills and just aren't very friendly. I'd suggest staying somewhere else at least until hotel as been fully renovated.
This hotel is gross, booked it for 3 nights and had to check out after the 1st night. Don't let the pictures on their web site fool you, the rooms are dirty and moldy. I understand they are renovating, but do not put people in gross rooms. Our room #153 had dried paint in the bathtub, the shower head was corroded, doors scratched up, only 3 lights in the room which included the bathroom. The chair was torn up, food left in the refrigerator, mold on the ceiling, and dirty drawers. And during the night there was such a awful smell that kept us up.
I have stayed here 2 times in the last month and Marilyn at the front desk made my day each time. She was able to find a solution to my deposit issue and was able to check me in with ease each time. Very friendly with excellent customer service skills. Lobby and Hotel room were very clean. I always stay here when visiting the area. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit.
Wonderful experience at this incredibly CLEAN hotel. We stayed only overnight to catch a very early morning flight. The rooms were immaculate, lots of towels, and plenty of space for us. I heard minimal noise, even though we were outside of a freeway
As a club member, this is our first experience at this location. The resort is beautiful. It has a robust gym for being a hotel/resort.
Peyton at the front desk was extremely informative and a pleasure to check in with. Of course they still want to
Love this place. I do believe this is the best coffee I have ever had...fresh, tasty and very smooth. The service was excellent and I love the decor. A vintage vibe but new and clean. I would recommend this place and I plan to go back. Also...they pl
