Tropical Manor - Hotel in Daytona Beach Shores - 2237 S Atlantic Ave, USA

I just had my wedding on the beach as a guest of the motel. My experience could not have been more lovely. If you are looking for the charm of old Florida, this is your place. We had driven by for ten years and finally made the leap to stay. Sarah, Heather and the other wonderful ladies up front made our stay so wonderful. They checked several times to make sure there was nothing I needed during my "prep." I knew if I needed anything at all, one of them would find it for me. The rooms. Oh my word THE ROOMS. Not a single one is identical to any other room. They are all different and it is so refreshing! I stayed in the Sunrise Room facing the ocean and it was absolutely beautiful. You get a key in the form of an old relic, an actual key! The owner herself, Audrey, sent a magnificent bridal arrangement that was waiting in my room upon arrival. I cried. The pool is adorable. The tiny circle kiddie pool from days of yore is precious. There is an actual shuffleboard court which we did not get to partake in as we ran out of time. We took several of our wedding photos on the grounds and I cannot wait to get them back. There is NO other place like this in Daytona Beach or the Shores. I'm counting the days until I can retire and take out a timeshare with these lovely folks. You will fall in love with the grounds and the staff immediately.

A wonderful old time resort, which is very clean and comfortable! Quiet and relaxing, with all types of places nearby, within walking distance! We love a nice, quiet weekend staying here, just to get away from the world. Since we repeatedly return here, and we leave having enjoyed ourselves, we feel we couldn’t do much better, and it’s not the same big type motel/resort.

The staff are very accommodating and will always be willing to help. Clean and well maintained. Having gone through 2 hurricanes in last 2 years they have worked hard to restore the place to it's original self.

When my children were young my wife and I found this place that was across from another hotel. We went to see the property and though what a beautiful place. The heated pool and ocean view were awesome to see every day. You need to check it out for yourself.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 6 days and it was the loveliest, most colorful, vintage and cleanest. Don't even get me started on the staff. They were so sweet, super kind, respectful, personable and funny. Alien the owner was so awesome the nicest sweetest lady I've ever met. I absolutely adored all the ladies and guys in the office. Definitely a great place to go beds are super comfortable the rooms are so unique and every single one is different there's not a room that's the same they are so comfy and cozy. They are like home away from home. Highly recommend this place it's a great experience to add to your experience. Absolutely will be coming back! This Year we stayed at Tropical Manor. The employees were great. Our room was clean and ready when we got there. Our shower needed a new shower head, and they changed it so that we were able to use it proper. One of our trailers needed a fix and John took care of it also. Their attention to our needs went above and be yond. As a group they made sure our vehicles, especially our Bikes we safe and secure. I have no problem leaving my Bike in their care and will do so in March. Can't Wait...

The Tropical manor is an amazing hotel super clean completely renovated. We stayed there 40 years ago and returned in October 2023 to find it so well maintained and great staff we can’t think of one bad thing to say . We will be back next year. We travelled with a large dog and the unit they provided felt like home.

This is most definitely a true gem on Daytona Beach. The old Florida feel is enhanced by the stellar customer service provided from every member of this family run establishment. Clean & Comfortable.
