Tropical Gardens Travel Park - RV park in Bradenton - 1120 53rd Ave E, USA

I stayed for a month. The laundry facility was outstanding. Clean machines. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Pleasant. There is no wifi. You need to stand by the office for wifi. (Nothing new in the RV camping business. Just a lie to make you think you will have it.) The numerous speed bumps are horrible! Rediculous number of them. The place looks rundown. Many junky trailers. Boats. Stored. Water pressure a simple trickle. I would stay again but understand what I am getting.

I've been here since April 2021. It was a 50+ park then. Since new owners took over and put all new office staff in, the park has become very nice to live in. It is now open to families and kids of all ages and pet friendly. It's kept very clean, with no trash or pet debris all over, and even though it is a family and kid park now it is still a very quiet park. The office staff is very friendly, helpful, and always respectful to deal with. They are always a joy to see. They do their jobs by the book and are still very friendly staff members to have. The park is a gated area with over 100+ very clean lots. There are park maintenance workers right on the property. The neighbors here are for the most part very friendly and respectful of each other. I am a new neighbor to a very nice couple across from me that even helped with my central A/c when I didn't know why it wasn't working right, they helped me with many little things and answered all my questions about living in a mobile home in FL., especially during hurricane season, always friendly and watching out for anyone they can all without wanting any payment. I've never had such nice neighbors willing to be a help for no financial reasons. There is a good size pool and shuffleboard courts. Grills and outside picnic tables for use. A nice rec hall with games, puzzles, a big screen TV, darts, and a mini kitchen area to prepare food. They do planned dances and get togethers in the rec hall too. It's within walking distance to Winn Dixie, fast food restaurants, Dollar General, Walgreens, health clinics, and even an inside farmers' flea market. Close driving distance to the beaches and hospitals and the Bradenton River walk downtown. If you're looking for a quiet, friendly place to park your motorhome, or RV, or purchase a permanent mobile home and start some new long time friendship's you need to consider this park. And the monthly fees are very very reasonable compared to many around here. If you are not a troublemaker, you pay your rent on time , you are respectful to your neighbors in this park, you clean up after your pets, and your looking for a clean,safe gated community to start new beginnings in then you will enjoy living here.

Note of caution. Under new management from early 2023. Their policy is to no longer give refunds for days not used. I paid the whole month of November, but we had to leave on the 4th day of the month. They will not refund the rest of the month. Even going to the daily rate, instead of the long-term rate, we would have received a refund. As quoted by office manager "we do not refund days not used". I think this is a bad policy for customers. RENTERS BEWARE!!

The new management team that took over here has done a great job at cleaning up the billing. We no longer have to pay cash here which keeps things on the up and up. The new manager has improved the security in the park by having the gate close sooner than the old management. The new manager always has a smile any time you go into the office and is willing to help in any way she can.

BEWARE IN THIS RV PARK , NOT A GOOD ONE,WORSE W SHERRY AND MARCY , been harassed by some neighbors and now by management, Sherry and Marcy been harassing me in the last 2 weeks and even today 05/01/2024 Sherry came to my house again and again abusing of the power I s what she's doing , I got her on camera again at my house taking pictures, next time I will have to call the cops , Is over using her manager tittle in this community, I will complete my review by Monday , I toll her to have her boss to call me before all this so i didn't have to put this review but she never did , my place is one of the best looking and keep up in the community when others are horrible, I'm going to put pictures too , next door is horrible and the A/C cover is a tarp that is breaking in pieces and clogging my gutter and making a mess around , she and Marcy hasn't done anything about it , I Don't recommend to move here , the harassing is so aggravating for me that I haven't been able to sleep , I will post some other issues that hasn't been fix , places that looks like 3erd world country and plastic tents (carports) and the two in office keep bothering me at lot 39 , you only has to come to park and checked and you will be wow and she's harassing you For few things that you having on side and that you where already working on it ??? and with permission from few managers before this ones, it was few things that I was working on and the 2 in office put me a notice that if I didn't move it they will evict me or something like that, I ask permission for all this long before Sherry and even when she got in with Veronica i toll them what i was doing on my backyard and on the sides because water gets higher there and I will fix it or been fixing it , and another day they got mad because I cut few pieces of tree that was about to hit neighbor and electrical wires on back , complaining about it too when I'm doing something to beautified or for better, i even clean my front of the street blower here and there , im always doing something for better on my place and this park by making things nicer not by cheapest thing ever , yes I'll have all the videos , pictures etc and I will keep from now on so I can prove what'd been happening to even my lawyer etc etc , they are bothering me and my family isn't happy about it , they will post a review too. Lady at lot 99 been harassing me and insulting me , I complained at office few months ago and even toll Sherry to look at my videos and she didn't wanted and only making the whole thing more difficult that I have to have a letter etc etc ,she didn't wanted to do anything about it and that's not what a community manager do for their residents that are being harassed or in those situations, the one at lot 99 came one day even screaming that why I have a golf cart , motorcycle etc etc bothering me in my own house and attacking me , Sherry never did anything about it actually next day same lady came with more insults etc. Some neighbors been screaming and harassing me about me when I was or been or doing fixing my places etc , the 2 in office need to give them noice ordinance rules and time, the worse neighbors I ever had , some even seem worry about my place and what I been doing than them fixing their own trash, some neighbors even think that they own the rv park or that they are better than others, like their poop doesn't smell, and lots of drugs addicts in this place, worse neighborhood I ever been. I was the one helping for free in many things around this park from roofing to plumbing etc, and never done a party or a hangout for respect to the neighbors, but no more i wouldn't even help anyone in the park, been here since 13 years ago,deal with dog poop from even taking it inside my home and saw neighbors fights to even broken windows ,I called the cops on few here in this park that's how bad it is , even got a report on one of the neighbors, was harassing really bad even my ex didn't have no choice than call the police. Still places with broken screens, particular board and trash around them.

Nice park with mostly full time park homes. No cable, internet very weak, Ota antenna gets many free channels.

We have stayed here for many years. It is a nice small RV park close to shopping and beaches and quite reasonable for the location. The new management maintains good oversight of the park, particularly regarding security.

My friends stayed there with their RV and it felt cramped. They tried to do laundry and dryers didn't work. They left as planned but with three loads of wet laundry. A bit frustrating.
