Positive: This hotel had the kitchen thoughtfully set up with everything one would need. I was very impressed. The sleeping room had lovely antique furniture, cozy bed and fluffy cottagey blankets. The grounds were lovely with a gazebo, BBQ, and easy parking. Negative: The heater kept the room toasty warm but bcz its an old style it was slow to heat up or cool down.

This is a cute little place. The kitchens are a perfect size and well stocked. The beds are comfortable. It is not far off Hwy 101 and day trips were easy. Trinidad state park was about 5 minutes away. There is a perfect little grocery (Murphy's Market) is a few minutes away and they have fresh seafood. |The only downside is the staff was not there in the mornings, especially when the electricity went out unexpectedly or the internet was out.

Pros: Remodeled bathroom and having a kitchen are big pluses. Nestled in beautiful forest. Friendly staff. Great value overall. Cons: The rest of the room could use some remodeling along with a new bed. Nothing really negative but just keep in mind this is not a five star hotel.

We were here in March and couldn't wait to return. We had unit 7 this time and it was wonderful. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that weren't as clean. My puppies love the walk on the trail through the Redwoods at the back of the property. Lashawna has the perfect personality to work in this industry. She truly cares that your stay is pleasant. We are looking forward to going back again.

Where do I start? I was traveling alone during a storm. The river rose and blocked highway 101. They answered the phone at 10 p.m. and took me in. The room had a giant warm duvet and the best pillows. I felt safe and warm (especially with the adorable gas fire place) Will be back. Larrupin' Cafe is a walkable distance. Perfect place for a romantic weekend. Gorgeous place. LaShawna and Linell take care of their guests.

We stayed here en-route to Seattle from San Francisco and were recommended to stop in Trinidad by the national parks tourist info centre when planning a trip from Australia. Had no idea what to expect, and this was the only place that could accommodate us at the time of our travel. It was a little more pricey than some of the other places we stopped along the way for - but it was worth every penny! We had room #1 which was the two storey room with the loft bedroom - a welcome relief as the kids each had own double bed after having to share for the week before. The beds were comfy, and real feathered quilts!! The room was a great size with a lounge room and separate kitchen. Very quiet - at least it was when we stayed there! The forest on the back doorstep was just such a wonderful surprise and much loved by our kids to explore. Wish we could only have stayed longer. It's a little dated, but we thought it added to the charm - suits the little place that Trinidad is in itself. The room was clean and had all the amenities including a gas fireplace!! Would highly recommend and this was a standout location and accommodation for our kids - so glad we stopped by.

My mom and I stayed at Trinidad Inn the first week of October and had a WONDERFUL stay. We stayed in the chicken themed room with two full beds. Room was clean and was cleaned each day by friendly staff. We had a cot brought in for the last two nights when my husband flew in and he had plenty of room to spread it out either in the room or in the kitchen! Kitchen came fully stocked with pans, plates, and utensils. The grounds are GORGEOUS. Nestled in the woods, it's so peaceful. There are grills and a firepit for guests to use. We had a fire and made s'mores (firewood, lighter, kindling, and roasting sticks provided!) it was so nice! The only downside was the walls are a little thin, but the inn attracts people who were asleep by 9-10 so it wasn't a problem for us. The inn is for sale and I'm hoping the new owners keep it how it is! Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit the Redwoods or Trinidad.

This place was beautiful! We stayed there for Thanksgiving and we were able to cook our feast with our daughter that goes to school up there! Such a nice vibe! The help was so amazing! It really was a great visit!

We stayed at the campground and explored the park. It's quite large and very pretty. Our campsite was just ok. It was surrounded with blackberry bushes, no hook-ups but was level and quiet. We really enjoyed the Wedding Rock trail and look outs. Bea

Well maintained day use area with clean washrooms. We kayaked there 3 times and enjoyed a different part of the lagoon each time. It does get to be a bid of work when the wind comes up.

I really enjoyed the beach here. We saw a seal bodysurfing the waves near the shore, a couple dolphins in the distance, a sea lion swimming, and lots of pelicans. It wasn't too windy either. Parking is limited and we saw the state park rangers leavin
