We all know what five star motels/hotels are, that is the only reason I did not give this a five-star. Is it this is under NEW MANAGEMENT and is very well kept and clean, has indoor pool and outdoor pool. Continental breakfast, though on the weekends it has sausage and scrambled eggs. All the staff that we were in contact with was very pleasant and polite. The room was large and well kept. If you had tried this place before and said you'd never go back, please give them another try as we did and we definitely will be back, there is a small kids area to play, the property is large full of trees and well kept we actually did even see a bear across the road. They are pet friendly! Due to our room being available before the check-in time they let us check in early, as well as they let us check out an hour late due to they weren't that busy being a weekday. We stayed in the 5A building, has a small fenced patio to sit on facing the grounds. I definitely would give a 5 thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍
We had a nice time. The one bedroom suite was great for our family of 5. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool. The room and pool were clean. The only thing was trash was left outside our door, I assume from the cleaner or previous guest. The balcony was nice, but the neighbors were smoking which we didn't prefer to smell. The front desk was helpful with our questions and always ready to help and very nice. Overall I would recommend it's a nice place to stay.
It is obvious this property was recently purchased and is undergoing updates. We were only there for two nights, so it didn't bother us much that a lot of work is going on all around. We liked our pet friendly suite just fine, with two VERY comfortable queen beds and the added bonus of a living room and balcony. Just average for now, but I am sure it will be nice when they are finished renovating.
We stayed for 4 nights. Very nice stay. Room was clean. Very close to indoor pool and hot tub, but noise was not a problem at all. Enjoyed the balcony. Breakfast was nice. Very quiet. Would definitely stay again. They are doing renovations, but didn't affect our stay. Anxious to see when they are finished. The outdoor area is nice! Front desk was very friendly!
Perfect spot for a one night getaway. The room was exactly what we were looking for - clean and comfortable. The sprawling grounds of the resort were very inviting and relaxing (even though it was raining during our stay). Hands down, the cleanest breakfast area I've ever experienced at a hotel. There was some construction taking place around the office area, but nothing to interfere with our access to the office or the rest of the resort. Will be staying here again, and hopefully soon.
If you're looking for a quiet and clean place to stay in an excellent location, definitely stay here! After arriving at the hotel we realized we were not as close to the office as we wanted to be and the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Bristol graciously upgraded our room and even let us view it first. The bed was very comfy and we had plenty of pillows to choose from. The sheets, comforter, pillow cases and towels all smelled very clean with no weird stains. The A/C was very cold and quiet. The private balcony overlooking the courtyard was peaceful and relaxing while enjoying my coffee from the stocked Keurig provided in the room. Breakfast was tasty with many options to choose from. The lady working the breakfast area was very nice and kept everything stocked and cleaned. The courtyard area was beautifully maintained and the walking paths were paved and well lit. I cannot wait to see this place after the new renovations are complete. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful place to stay! I'm a little late in my review as we stayed here about a month ago. We stayed in the little cabin and it was amazing! Clean, well stocked with everything you'd need, including shampoo, body wash, towels, wash cloths, kitchen supplies, everything! The indoor pool was amazing! It was nice and warm and had towels available in case you forgot your own! The front desk staff is warm and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious! LOVE this place and we plan on staying here every time we go back to the Smokies! I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! Yes they are renovating, but it was not an issue for us!
Very clean room just above the indoor pool, which was WONDERFUL- it was a slice of paradise! The temperature was perfect in the water, and it also has a hot tub whirlpool beside it. The pool has a waterfall, too, and it was lovely! I liked the layout of the room - living room when you walk in, then foyer with fridge and microwave leading into the bathroom, then large bedroom with balcony overlooking the majestic Smokies! The living room has a sofa sleeper and its own tv. There’s another tv in the bedroom, which would make it very convenient for two people. I was alone, so I only needed one tv that I never watched because I was in the pool or exploring the Smokies, which the sign to entering the Great Smokey Mountains is literally one mile from the hotel. Cades Cove is an easy 15 minute drive. Apple Mountain Cafe has excellent food. I ate there for dinner and was very impressed! Check in was easy, and my room was ready a couple hours early, so I was able to go ahead and check in, plus, they allowed me one hour later to check out, which was prearranged with management. They were all SUPER nice. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were awesome! If you want a nice room with the indoor pool just below, ask for room 4201 or just ask for one of the rooms above the indoor pool. It was an awesome experience for me. I will definitely return there. I loved it!

After leaving Florida a day early for a business trip to Knoxville, we had stopped off in Townsend to find lodging for the evening. We had been on the road and awake for well over 24hrs and were extremely exhausted and was hoping to check in early. K
