This is such a nostalgic candy shop. They are making it in the store front window as you shop around. The smells…. THE SMELLS… are out of this world. They have fudge, taffy, gummies, truffles…. You name it! They only accept cash or check, but there is an ATM. Great place!
Mouthwatering chocolate selection. We might have to take a weekend trip to Hayward again soon. I can't stop thinking about the sea salt caramel balls. They were amazing! My husband fell in love with the Sea Monster. Reese are a must try! There is also a huge selection of nostalgic candies and the largest salt water taffy selection I have ever seen in my life. Located in downtown Hayward, so there are many other shops to enjoy while you nibble on the goodies you find at Tremblays.
THE BEST homemade candy! Walking into Tremblay's gives you an immediate feeling of nostalgia. So many chocolate and candy options to choose from - my favorites are the turtles and the fudge!
Excellent variety! Very inexpensive! I haven't been to this candy shop in 17 years but excited to take my kids this visit! This was one of my favorite places to visit when i went to hayward and now my kids have a favorite spot and possibly new cavities.lol
Newer location (I think they opened it in 2020). Always a must to stop at Tremblay's, and now there are 2. Take the kids and enjoy some sweets. A must when visiting Hayward.
Absolutely amazing old school candy store. We loved the fudge, chocolate, oreo balls, and taffy. The employee who helped us was wonderful too. My pictures don't do it justice.
Candy is decent. Quality has definitely declined over the years. The fact that they still do not take credit cards in 2023 is very unacceptable. They often tell customers that "they cannot afford it" but if you cannot afford a 2.5% transaction fee, there is some bigger issues at hand. Really hoping this place will turn around!
Fun and nostalgia permeate your senses, not my favorite though as Lynn Marie's is my local favorite.
