Bed was big and comfortable, but I don't think the pull out sofa bed was cleaned. We had cups for coffee but no coffee maker and the one in the lobby didn't work. One of our lamps was broken and there is only 1 over head light in the room's entry way (and 1 in the bathroom), the bed area only has lamps for light. There was old pizza boxes stacked in the hallway that didn't get picked up for a day and someone spilled ranch and that wasn't cleaned for 1-2days. Didn't see a gift shop like advertised on the website, but there was a bar (hours 3pm-11pm only) with a pool table.

VERY PET FRIENDLY!!! Stayed here for a week, had an issue with the first room, it was fixed, we were changed to one without issues quickly. Staff and customers are all mostly pet friendly, and full of pats and kind words. Over the weekend(when we learned his girlfriend was also staying at the same hotel!!) we were able to use a grill on property, and there's even a little fire pit. My dog and his girlfriend had a lovely time. On my last full day, the house keeper gave me some advice on local parks, and due to her recommendation my dog and his girlfriend had a lovely day at Karen memorial dog park, and at I believe North Beach(lake Michigan). Loved staying here. But BEWARE THE CHICKEN BONES IN THE GRASS BY THE PARKING LOT. I have picked at least 20 up my whole stay.

Positive: Knowing that the whole family works at the hotel and live at the hotel.?even the housekeeping person stay at the hotel. Mom and daughter are awesome. Great home environment ? Negative: The pool area i feel that would bring more customers.?its nice area in the back of the hotel. It?ll be great if it was being fixed up with a hotel and hot tube and maybe a grill area.

Yikes! The negative reviews are accurate. I was surprised upon check-in to be asked for a $100 cash deposit for incidentals returnable on checkout. I asked why wasn't I made aware of this on Priceline, the front desk authority suggested that perhaps I didn't read it on their site. I did indeed miss that information. Anyway, I paid the deposit. No receipt was given or offered. Apparently I wasn't the only one that didn't read it on the website because later when I returned to the front desk to request a receipt for my deposit, two people in front of me were also surprised by the news. The front desk authority was unnecessarily goading and arguing for five minutes with the guy in front of me while the rest of us sweltered in line waiting. After check in I went to check out the room. As soon as I opened the door it was apparent the floors were not clean. In my opinion that says to me the room is not that clean either. There was a big ball of hair that blew by as I opened the door and spots of something on the floor. I went back to the front desk. He said he'd get someone in there right away but it would be 20 minutes (at least) before I could go into the room. I waited in the car with my dog. It was an inconvenience because my husband was supposed to be able to help me get everything in the room could not stay that long because check-in and now this delay took so long and he had an appointment. Got into the room and the floors were still not clean. The TV remote didn't work. The new remote they brought me had no battery cover. The sink leaked. The dressers were all banged up and scratched. The dusty corner lamp's plug prongs were bent and hanging out of the socket and wouldn't go back in. I fixed it. The air conditioner was coming off the wall and the top looked like someone had taken a bat to it. The wand on the curtains came of as soon as I opened them. There was dust, dirt and dead and live bugs in the window. There was no coffee maker as is listed in the description and none at the coffee station in the lobby. The hotel is also only dog friendly, not pet friendly. Be aware, no cats allowed. There was dog feces in the hallway and all around the rear pet area. There was a dead bird that was on the outside walkway my whole stay. The ice maker is on the second floor so if you're handicapped, hope you don't need ice or coffee. The grounds are a dumpy mess. Your key doesn't let you in the doors closest to your room so there's many doors propped open. There's garbage collections and people outside every door. As soon as you pull up there's a snarky staff member smoking in front of the no smoking sign at the front entrance. Two times I called the front desk and no one answered. The bathroom near the lobby was a mess and had no hand towels and the hand dryer was inefficient. The guest laundry facilities were filthy and nearly blocked by a soda machine with no diet soda options. They also do not offer early check-in or late check-out as is listed in the amenities on the website. I also never saw a convenience store or gift shop as is also detailed on their website. I could continue but I think I sufficiently described the highlights of my experience. Not a good stay. On the upside though the bartender and the morning front desk ladies were very nice and friendly. Overall not worth the $100/night I paid. Never again if I can help it.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean , bed was very comfortable. The only thing that was not great was the hallway. It could use some additional cleaning.

The shower gets you clean. But I wish it was hot water and not luke warm. I tried to leave the shower running for 30 min and checked it again. The mirror was steamed up, the water was not. Loved how comfortable the beds are.

Our room was filthy. Crumbs all over the floor and table, hair in the bathtub. The fridge still had food in it. The bed was made, but the sheets looked and smelled dirty. It looked as though someone used a dirty sponge to smear dirt on the table, nightstands, and outside of fridge. The room stunk of week-old cigarettes so badly that it made me nauseous.

Positive: It could have been worse. At least the bed was ok and linens were clean. It felt as if we slept in a dusty attic. Negative: The hotel is grossly understaffed. It shows - even the main corridor was not vacuumed the two nights we were there.
