Travelodge by Wyndham Ogallala - Hotel in Ogallala - 201 Stagecoach Trail, USA

This is not a fancy hotel. It's a reasonably clean, safe place to sleep along the way if you're traveling. The pool is big, but cold. The rooms are not crowded, and the mini fridge and microwave both work. The beds are very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For the price, I'd say it's entirely adequate.

Can hear everything beside me, and behind me, no consideration for guest by other guests wake me up very early yelling and screaming that was happening last night as well. Bed was comfy. 2 roaches baby ones greeted me this morning in the bathroom. Lights did not turn on when I flipped the switch.

Do not stay here. This was the dirtiest motel room I have ever seen. All of the linens were dirty. It was clear that housekeeping had simply remade the bed and rehung the towels from previous guests without washing. There was a huge dark brown stain on the mattress that showed through the sheets. The chairs in the room were severely stained and one of the seats was shredded and needed to go to the dumpster. The floor was filthy, the white grout in the bathroom was completely brown with thick dirt. To get to our room, we had to walk by a room that had been sealed with police evidence tape, just a few rooms down from ours. Very unsettling. The room was so gross we could not sleep. We just got up in the morning and left exhausted.

The bathroom was unclean, dirt on the baseboard tops, shoe marks on the wall, no grab bars, tiny round bowl toilet barely 12 inches off the floor. The curtains did not function at all. The shears could not meet, the dark curtains were totally inoperable,, and this on a traveled walkway. No outlet for the desk. The nearest outlet was the other side of the room, 15 feet away and no extension cord. No light for the entry,, hit the switch and nothing happened, no light turned on. Had to feel my way the the bedside and figure out where the rocker switch was by touch alone. No light for the air unit,, had to guess what setting worked in the light from the hall ,,,because the curtains did not function. 2 negatives do make a positive. Floor was hard plastic,, and NOT mopped or clean. You could see the droplet marks of something from the hall light,, again because the curtains were non-functional. My bare feet stuck to the floor as I walked Good job Wyndham. Couple more like that and you are out of business.

Needed a pet friendly place to sleep at 10pm on our road trip. Found this place, super cheap, quick check in, very friendly staff. Room was clean enough and comfortable, but you get what you pay for. I'd go back in a pinch.

Positive: Room itself was clean, cool, quiet Negative: Breakfast was minimal, no protein available like boiled eggs or peanut butter. Fished a mouse out of the pool and killed it. I Didn't swim. TV had no signal.

EVERY single negative review you read is 100% true. When we pulled up the outside looks run down and don’t let the stagecoach out front fool you. You can tell by the banged up doors as soon as you walk in the hotel, that this hotel hasn’t been updated, fixed, and cleaned in FOREVER! As you walk in you also are hit with a VERY musty smell and complete dirtiness. The lobby looks run down and something from the 1800s. The furniture looked very outdated. The person at the front desk was hard to understand and when we told him that we needed a cot/rollaway bed, he acted all confused even though over the phone someone from the hotel told us there would be a cot/rollaway bed available. We never made it to our room because we knew just by what we already saw and read from the reviews that there would be no need to find out. We left the hotel and they gave us a refund. So definitely DO NOT stay here!

It is what it is, a $60 per night motel room. Want brand new, shining properties with exercise equipment and hot breakfast then expect to pay $150 per night elsewhere. Wi-Fi was blazing fast - good for my work. Room was as clean as you could expect given the age of this property. The reason for three stars? No working smoke detector in our room. Not cool and I believe not legal. We stayed in Room 104. Pool was open but ice cold. Coffee is provided in the rooms however.
