Travelodge by Wyndham Lynwood - Hotel in Lynwood - 11401 Long Beach Blvd, USA

A lot of talk on how bad this place is I didn't experience any of. Great service at check in. Room was clean as well as the bathroom. The pool was closed. Quiet low key area of Lynnwood. Lots of places to eat around this place. It's perfect place just to stay and explore L.A. Definitely would stay here again.

The pool is closed the jacuzzi has a tarp over it.This in the middle of summer, coffee machine in the lobby is out of order no breakfast not even basic pastry also the shower had no water pressure not to mention low shower head small full bed not a queen stray cats roaming no mini fridge I called ahead to request a microwave to put in my room since that the only way you can get one I was told it would be in my room before I arrived but they lied said I didn't put in a request.Loud next to main street and freeway would not recommend $200 deposit on credit card only ice machine closes at 10pm don't know why they have a basketball hoop if the car's park right under it lol July 2024

First impression during check in, I was told there's a $200 security charge. That's half of what our 3 night stay was. I've never even had a security charge that high in Las Vegas. Don't expect normal sized pillows. Both of our beds had these half sized pillows kind of square in shape. Like couch pillows but flat. The bathroom door had a hole in the top corner, and rubbed all over the door frame. The door handle and striker plate on the same door are not secured and are extremely loose. You have to shove the door to get it back open. The bathroom fan is just about dead. After 2 of us had took showers in the morning, the entire room was extremely humid, and all of our clean clothes ended up smelling moldy from the humidity. Keep in mind, this was with the bathroom door being shut. Our room had 3 pairs of outlets you SHOULD be able to use to charge a phone or laptop. I say should, because only the outlets next to the bathroom sink worked. All others would not hold any plug in the outlet.

Called for room availability and confirmed there was something available. After driving there I was told it was cash only. They also charge more than they do on Booking and won’t price match even though they don’t have to pay Booking the commission fee. EDIT: no, my card was not declined. It wasn’t even run. I handed my card to the receptionist and she immediately told me I had to pay in cash.

I had already made a reservation for a week, paid, and when I get there, the room wasn’t ready. Check in time was 2pm and it was past that. They also tell me I have to make a $200 deposit. ??? When i have already paid for the room. I had requested a microwave earlier and was told it would be provided shortly. We come back (it’s 2:30pm already) and the room doesn’t have the microwave i was promised. I go back to the front desk to ask and I’m told again it’ll be there shortly. I get frustrated and ask her when because it’s about to be 3pm already i just want to eat some food and shower. No instead I get my reservation cancelled and treated disrespectfully. I got a full refund without fees because even the agent I talked to (Expedia as thats where i made my reservation) agreed it wasn’t my fault. Tldr: i got my reservation canceled all because i kept asking for the microwave i was promised and the manager on-site allowed it to happen. Watch at the end of this review, Travelodge is gonna reply with empty promises on how they’ll make sure this never happens again. IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME AND THEY D O N T CARE. The women at the front especially SALLY deserve to be fired I’m homeless at the time I’m making this review . Travelodge should be ashamed of their ridiculous employees nothing was done about this

I a very high power spiritual person of the most high 👑 AkA u know who..OG Was recently at this location the beginning of July,2024 and again I tried to get a room again beginning of Aug, 2024 but was completely disrespected by the staff and manager for my spirituality and culture instantly. They lied on multiple occasions as I made a reservation ahead of time. But in all I can't blame the people cause the reality of life oragine I don't respect the situation cause it's a place of business that deals with many walks of life and is a big corporation the conductor failed once again to accommodate me responsibly there for ya reap what u sow Stay tuned

Very basic. More like a motel. Nothing to offer, needs major updates and upgrades. Room was noisy, and the "motel" seemed to be popular with guests who like to hang out over the railings and smoke.

I stayed her August 2023 until February 2024. I'm a travel nurse. This place was my home away from home. Ten minutes from my job location. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. My car was always safe and the neighborhood wasn't loud so I actually got great sleep here. Price was worth the stay for sure. Stayed in other hotels nearby for the same price or more and had a TERRIBLE experience. My contract ended abruptly so I didn't get to say goodbye but thank you guys for proving me with comfort while I worked away from my family!
