Travelodge by Wyndham Longmont - Hotel in Longmont - 3820 CO-119, USA

We enjoyed our stay so much that I am writing a review. We really enjoyed our stay here and that is why I am writing a review. We stayed for 3 days and we were traveling with our daughter and two year old granddaughter who made a bit of a mess. The cheerful housekeeping staff did not hesitate when asked to vacuum our room. Once again, the staff was very cheerful and friendly! We enjoyed a wonderful stay in a nice, clean, friendly, and accommodating hotel.

Within minutes of arriving we were calling to relocate. The smell upon entering the lobby was putrefying. The hotel hasn't been updates in probably 50 years. Once in the room we discovered the bed spread had burn holes in it the size of your hand, one pillow had what appeared to be blood stain while another was stained by other possibly food. The bed sheets had holes the size of dimes and various stains. The smell in the room was no better if not worse than the lobby. We arrived about 1:30am and left within the hour after locating new accommodations. The host was gracious and we got a complete refund however after apologizing she stated this has never happened before; that had to be a lie, we can't imagine anyone wanting to stay there even though the parking lot was full. Never again. It would appear Travelodge and Wyndham are only concerned about profit and clearly not the customer to allow there customers to be subject to pathogens of unknown origin and subject them to conditions no human should have to endure. Oh did I mention there was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs.

Positive: The price Negative: Something had been spilled in the sink leaving a sticky film in the sink and the surrounding counter top. They tried to clean it but we're unable. I've stayed there several times, and never had a problem, until that room.

When I arrived to check in, no one was available at the front desk. There was a sign to call a number for hotel staff, but it just rang at the front desk. I waited approximately 10 minutes before someone arrived to check me in. When me and my family finally got inside the room, it was terribly dirty. The entire lobby and hallway smelled of cigarettes and weed. My wife was afraid to go outside to our vehicle because there were undesirable persons hanging around the outside of the hotel that obviously didn’t stay there. The advertised pictures were not realistic.

Check in was difficult. “New” staff unsupervised. Was given room already occupied. Finally got new too. Which was filthy ||Staff repeatedly tried to enter my room during the night claiming “room audit”. Extremely rude. Management and Wyndham dismissed my safety concerns. Book at your own risk.

Location kind of shady, people hung out in the parking lot all night. Extremely strong weed smoke and cigarettes coming from other rooms. close to food and other amenities. Came here to be close to Rocky Mountain national park. Upon arriving they require a $100 refundable fee for insurance for any room damage to which you get back but have to wait a while before getting it back. I don’t recommend this place. Spend the extra $ for comfortability and safety.

Although the room was clean it's Really outdated and in dire need of some repair. The whole place smells like cigarettes and weed. For over $100 a night, pretty disappointed

Ridiculous, when you reserve a room and it says paid in full.. you get to the place after a long week and you show them everything is "paid in full" they insist that they want more money from you as in 100.00 more. Rip off and wouldn't give me my money back.
