Very friendly and engaged staff who are considerate, compassionate, and kind when asked for help of any type. They absolutely went the extra mile to see that our stay was easy and comfortable. They made accommodations for our health and mobility needs. They graciously welcomed our dog without any extra hoops or charges. Fairly priced. You know what you are getting before hand and there are no surprise charges at checkout. Conveniently located. The rooms are older and maybe a little dinged in places, but they are clean. In room fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Over all, an extremely pleasant experience just when it was needed. Thank you Travelodge crew of Grants Pass!!

Look...life is hard... So for those who judge this place that so many call home, is unfair. Things happen...and honestly, those fortunate enough to be able to afford it (even if times are tough) are grateful. This is so much more than a hotel. It's a community of people who just need a place to be. And that community works really hard to maintain this establishment so that vacationers or those just passing through can have the same experience. Yes it's an older hotel, but in the few months they have been here...the new management has worked round the clock to improve this property. With Christine in the office, just know you are safe here. She protects this property and the people on it because she genuinely cares. And with Tyler making rounds all night, checking in with guests, there isn't anything to fear. This place is safe, close to everything, friendly, clean. I can almost guarantee that most of the complaints are from people.who have been 86d off the property for something they did on the property, or allowed to be done, because know this, it takes Christine a lot to make her truly done with helping someone. I appreciate everything this hotel is, and is becoming. So yea, it is a bit less quality with the older property and all, but they truly make.up for it with hospitality!

Yes, this is a budget motel so I was not expecting high quality. However I believe this property should be condemned, it is literally falling apart, the roof support beams are cracked and splitting with rot, the rooms reek of must, mold and stale cigarettes (even the supposed non smoking room). Even checking in the lobby is gross and dirty and smells of marijuana. In the room stained bedding and towels with pet hair still on them, the "clean" towels just stacked on the toilet tank because there is no towel rack/ hanger. Temperature control is fan only hot/cold don't actually function on an 80's looking unit. Furniture is old flea market finds mismatched in the room which is TINY, two double beds(with horrible squeaky 20+ year old mattresses) with about 2 feet between them is the width of the main space with another 5ish feet which is mostly bathroom. Just really don't stay here, if you are desperate and severely limited on funds(which I totally understand) at least know what you are getting into, I wish I would have found a way to spend another 20-30$ and gotten something i could actually sleep in, as it was my family got no more thn 3hrs sleep which made enjoying the rest of our trip more difficult. Edit in response: as you can see by the company response this is not a place you want to give money to, the mattress may have been bought recently but sleeps like a 20+ year old one. It WAS NOT clean or in any way comfortable but when the lobby reeks of POT you know there is no point complaining even if there is "24hour" staff. Also I didn't say I had an issue where police were needed just felt I was in an area I would(but didn't thankfully). I didn't say it had pests but there WAS pet hair from previous guests and the room was very smelly. If you want to improve the image of this place I'd suggest you stop renting out rooms that aren't finished and stop being rude to negative Google reviews and rather learn from them.

We made a reservation on Priceline based on previous experiences with Wyndham motels and Travelodge. This location is not worthy of the Wyndham brand or of being offered on Priceline and other hotel booking sites. Room was incredibly smelly with mold and cigarette smoke that hit us like a ton of bricks when we opened the door. The room was small, not clean, dingy and mattresses sunken in. The clientele hanging around the outside of the property were sketchy, smoking pot and not sure what else. After inspecting the room, we decided to leave and asked for a refund. The manager Christine was very rough, denying that the room smelled of anything or there were any problems, and using the F word towards us. I did not feel safe as we left the property. The children with us were also scared.

So me and my fiancé had made a last minute reservation around midnight and checked in around 12:30. We really just needed somewhere to stay and it was the only place that had a room open. I am currently pregnant and was really tired from driving so we just decided to stop and stay somewhere. After we checked in, we got to the room and it smelled absolutely awful. Definitely a mold smell for sure and very strong. There were blood stains on the bedding and from what it looked like, semen on one of the pillow cases. Whatever it was though the bedding was not cleaned. Just looked like they remade the bed with the same bedding after someone had stayed there. The floors were very dirty and there was something sticky on the floor in front of the fridge. The towels were very obviously used and refolded. There were burn marks on the nightstands. Unfortunately this hotel room was not clean in anyway. There were scuff marks all over the wall and overall just a very uncomfortable environment to be in. We did not stay, as to the fact I am pregnant I could not handle the smell and it just didn’t seem like a safe clean or healthy environment for me or my fiancé to be in. We did leave about 10 minutes in to being there, we tried to go talk to the front desk but he had already locked the doors and shut the lights off. We decided we would just leave and call and express our concerns in the morning. I called this morning stating my concerns and was wondering if there was a way I could cancel the reservation and get a refund, at the time the money for the room had not come out of my account yet. The lady I spoke to was very rude and seemed to be offended by what I was saying about the room and stated she would not be giving me a refund because she lived there and that they are a great motel and hung up on me. I have contacted higher ups and did let them know about her behavior over the phone along with my concerns about the room. Right after I got off of the phone with the lady from the front desk, the money immediately came out of my account. I’m very upset and disappointed with how this had to go.

!!!DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We had high hopes for this location as we stayed at a fabulously CLEAN one in Depoe Bay, OR. We were instantly discouraged when we checked in and the lobby smelled strongly of marijuana. We got to our room and it was labeled as non-smoking but it smelled heavily of stale smoke. We were on the upper floor and on the floor immediately below us, there was obviously a heavy smoker with a Styrofoam cup filled with cigarette butts. When we were arriving, 3 doors down from us was a man smoking "pot" so we couldn't open up the room to try to air it out. We quickly discovered that the wall air conditioner did not work. It only worked on "fan mode." No cool air came through. The walls were stained and dirty. The drawers had visible mold and dirt in them. The shower had hair in it and chipped paint (paint not a big deal but the hair was off-putting). The bathroom had multiple, obvious brown stains as well as some kind of blue substance splattered about. The tile choice was lovely but the transition from the bedroom was obviously unfinished and lacking a piece to make it safe for the toes. One of the beds looked like it hadn't been changed as it was quite wrinkled and rumpled. The other bed looked freshly laundered. I put my kids in the bed that seemed the cleanest and we slept on top of the stained bed that looked like it hadn't been changed. We didn't crawl into it for fear of what we may find. The coffee pot had hair in it as well as visible dirt. The curtains had animal hair all over them, which wouldn't have bothered me except that the bed I had to sleep in was pushed up against them. The TV required you to have your own ROKU log in and wifi was garbage quality. We didn't bother complaining to the manager because we figured if the management couldn't bother to keep the office odor-free, then there would be no point in trying to get a cleaner room. I e seen many defensive comments from management that some of the rooms are "under construction." If that's the case, don't charge full price for an unfinished and dirty room. You really do get what you pay for. This is an establishment that has the quality of a truck stop or a "pay-by-the-hour" kind of place. I don't expect empathetic feedback from the management, only defensive reactions. I honestly debated sleeping in my car but was insanely fearful I'd be mugged in the parking lot. Don't waste your money here. Read the reviews and take notes of owner reactions. We have reported and are in contact with Windham about these issues. "Low budget" is exactly what this place promises. Quality is low on the list. If you have allergies, asthma, or any other sensitivities, do NOT stay at this place. The odors will haunt you at least a week after your stay. I'm so disappointed because I've stayed at a quality Travelodge before and this was the worst I've ever experienced.

Positive: Front desk person was courteous and friendly Negative: The bathroom shower stall and floors could been cleaner ? animal hairs on mattress and pillows. Baseboards and walls, doors dirty. Air conditioner filter screen was very dirty as well as knobs and vents.

Positive: Nothing Negative: I was intentionally put with section 8 long term residents and employees. Noisy all night, kids running around till after midnight. Digs barking. Employees talking loudly all night. Didn't sleep at all. What a scam. A reservation means nothing.
