Travelodge by Wyndham Florida City/Homestead/Everglades - Hotel in Florida City - 409 SE 1st Ave, USA

We I initially booked this as a quick and cheap option|Following a cruise. Our goal was to get outside MI A and closer to the keys. Due to the price I had lower expectations because it’s just going to be an in and out deal for a couple days. ||First from my check in they allowed me to do it a couple hours early. The staff, I believe it’s the family who own it, were extremely nice! Super fast check in and back to the room. The grounds are meticulously maintained. It’s a smaller place but boy was it clean. The room you can tell is older but maintenance has done a good job at keeping up with it. This place is updated where it needs and nothing makes you feel like they aren’t maintaining it. ||The bed was comfortable that TV has like 30 channels, it’s close to everything. I would 200% recommend this for anyone looking for a good option.

It seemed to good to be true- a great motel way under $100? BUT it wasn't. Greeted by a great staff , the room was old "style" but had new furniture and was spotless. BY FAR the cleanest motel of our 14 day roadtrip. Staff suggested restaurants etc.. they were all great. I would return here anytime. Breakfast was a little "basic", but hot and ready. The coffee looked dark from the (mixing?) machine but tasted great. If I had to be really picky, the only thing i didn't like about our 2 day stay was the orange juice - the color was a dark orange (not like minute maid), but tasted ok.

I had a splendid experience at this well kept Travelodge. Staff were friendly and informative with things to do in the area. It’s located 30 mins away from the Keys so the travel time and distance was convenient. The beds were very comfortable and spacious rooms. I would definitely recommend this award winning property.

Really good low cost motel. Well located in the everglades with easy access to attractions. Everything that you will need is local. Pool was great after a nice hot day out exploring. Free breakfast was good. Waffles, fruit, toast and eggs and sasauge.

We were super hesitant to book a room in this area after reading reviews of other places nearby, but we were planning on going to the Everglades the next day and the location was super convenient to the national park. We booked for 1 night in a king bed room. It was definitely worth the extra couple dollars to book here. Spotless rooms, friendly staff, and great breakfast. Never saw any bugs of any kind in the room. Bathroom was very nice and clean. They do provide shampoo and body wash. All rooms are on the main level so no stairs. Parking spots are assigned in front of your room. Part of the reason for choosing this hotel was breakfast being included. It was great! A lot of variety and choices. They have cereal, waffle makers, and toasters. We did not have a chance to use the pool, but our room was right next to it and it appeared clean and in good order.

Very clean rooms! The hotel property is also very clean and well lit/secure at night. We had a problem with the AC in our first room and they moved us to an adjacent room where the AC worked extremely well. Great customer service! The surrounding area is a little rough but we would absolutely stay here again. It was just as a clean or cleaner than our typical stays at Drury Inns. Great location for visiting Everglades National Park!

The hotel, in general, was quite good. Rooms were cleaned and big. The breakfast wasn’t excellent because there were few choices of food and the service was pretty invisible. The pool was relaxing. However I recommend this hotel because our stay has been great.
