If I could rate negative stars I so would my and my family was staying here recently. We got kicked out over air freshener because one of the maids didn't like it and said it "smelt like pee" when it was cashmere vanilla air freshener. They also don't clean the floors right they seem to mop and sweep once a week but the floors end up being dirtier then before. There is also roaches in the rooms. Not to mention the neighborhood, you cant sleep well its loud all hours. If your by your self they will do inappropriate things. You would need to always have a knife or something for protection. There is also drug activity out in the open happening. There's all kinds of other crimes going not it's not safe for anyone especially not for children. Then their price online may say 50 but they will actually charge you 80 a night. Their Wyndham rewards member price they won't honer it like they are suppose to. I do not recommend this place at all. If you can avoid it please do.
The lobby and staff were both wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and super kind. I'd happily stay here again because of that alone, but the fair pricing definitely sways me too. However, there are some mild warnings:
The room was wild. There were no towels, which is fine I guess, easy to ask for some. But there also wasn't a remote for the TV for the four days I stayed. The front office tried to help with that, but there's only so much you can do when someone steals the remotes.
The room had a cigarette butt still floating in the toilet when I got there, there wasn't a plug in the bathtub (I also think someone stole the copper fitting around the drain- says more about the area than the hotel, though). Also easily overlooked for the not-so-discerning traveller. There was a sizable gap beneath the door that at one point the largest water bug I've ever seen crawled through just so it could die inside.
I was also propositioned for "carnal delights" when I was trying to catch my Lyft.
The location is central, the staff is fantastic, but I don't know if I'd suggest this place if you're traveling with small children.
This room is you get what you pay for. Let me just say the lobby was very nice and the employees were great and helpful. However the room was not great the sheets had small stains and burn holes. Off the rip the room smelled like cigarettes. The towels didn't look clean so I had to ask housekeeping for different ones. I do like the office offer use of the microwave. I don't like they had roaches. But however It is in a decent location to everything
(Convenience store, Walmart, etc) Wasn't a lot of parking where my room was so some days I had to park near another building or in front of the office.
The staff was nice
The room was terrible. WiFi kept turning off. There were roaches all over the walls and bathroom inside the hotel. The entire room smelled like cigarettes. There was human hair on the towels and stains all over the pillows. I’ve included a picture of a roach in the bath tub
The owners and the ppl in lobby are nice. The rooms are not up to part. No refrigerator nor microwave. Rooms smell, they have tiny roaches, sheets and towels are always dirty looking, crackheads come outside at night. Housekeeping is nice except for Spanish lady who always do second floor in back, she is very rude. The price looks low until they add taxes then you add almost 20 more dollars.
My sister and brother in law booked this hotel! what a mess. Upon her arrival at your hotel , she encountered unacceptable conditions, including a cockroach on the bed and died rats in the room. This was clearly not up to the expected Wyndham standards. As a result, she and her husband immediately left the room and canceled their stay, requesting a reimbursement at that time - some weeks passed, and she still did not get it back. Dangerous environment and poor service.
I was stuck in Atlanta because of the Crowdstrike incident, so I stayed at this motel close to the airport together with my wife on the night between 20 and 21 July, 2024. The room was not very cheap (107 $). The room was ok and the wifi worked. These are pretty much the only positives I can find. Bedsheets and towels were stained. The restroom was inhabited by several cockroaches (Blattella germanica). I took a shower putting a towel on the floor. My wife did not dare taking one.|There was no free shuttle to the airport, but a nearby (and much more expensive) hotel had one.|Not a nice stay overall.
Yes the pillows wore nice need more then two in a room though but overall it was very decent and worth the money can atone to other accommodations though like free breakfast and stuff would be a great new feature there at the Travelodge thank you
