Travelers Inn - Motel in Eagle River - 309 E Wall St, USA

We stayed several years ago without any problem. Not very nice but we just needed a bed so it was just ok. Then we recommended this place to a family member because it was low cost. BIG mistake. Our family member got stalked by the owner. When we stopped by to visit our family member to decide our dinner plans (we were staying somewhere else) the owner came to his door and said we had to leave. No visitors allowed. The guy was super aggressive and rude. He charged our family member extra money because we "stopped by". I would never recommend again.

Place was an absolute DUMP! The owner or whatever he is was as RUDE as can be! After an hour we left and stayed elsewhere! Place we stayed was CLEAN AND UPDATED AND EVERYONE WAS ACCOMDATING! DO NOT USE A BOOKING SITE TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS! Call your hotel directly!!! I am in customer service for 35 years and NEVER would I speak to anyone they way he spoke To us!! He calls people GUEST but in reality you’re his prisoner!!! You have been warned! DO NOT DO IT!!!!!

Don't ever go here it's a rip off, it's run down old building cockroaches and earwigs everywhere probably bed bugs as well couldn't see any and the hotel staff is atrocious absolutely don't care about your stay and it's just a miserable place. Spend the extra money for a nicer place. It's like something out of the 70's. Owner or whomever is a real pos. Burn it to the ground with him in it. He's a miserable person who hates himself and takes it out on the guests don't put yourself in this situation. Not to mention look at this idiots response to the reviews that customers leave there's so many negatives and he thinks he's not the problem what a delusional moron.

This was my second time staying here and would highly recommend. The rooms are clean, the management is friendly, and the location is perfect. My family will continue to stay there each time we’re in Eagle River.

Amazing guy, I called late right before close because we were having problems with the vehicle. Had a room ready and allowed us to come in late. Great rates for last minute. Also even jumped the truck after it died. Had enough parking for our trailer as well. Rooms are super clean and well taken care of. Sure they are older but it’s a great time warp. Great stay. I’ve lived and stayed in many hotels and this is one of the best due to cleanliness and service. Thank you for everything!

This place is horrible dirty and complete trash the owner is pretty much the everything in the building and watches you excessively he stalks your room and looks for reasons to withhold your deposit the guy may not be quite all the way there logically as he 100% believes his behaviors are normal beware of bringing your children around a guy like this like I've heard he was arrested with his own mother at the facility Town's Folk have had nothing but horrible disturbing things to say to and about him since my arrival here in November and after one month's day at the Travel Inn I have decided no matter what I do my entire life including homelessness I will always be happy as long as I am not here this guy is an absolute crook I'd rather have lemons squeezed in my eyes then stay here another night and endure the highway robbery that happens here and surprisingly he gets away with hopefully for your family think you should stay Anywhere But Here I promise you you will be much happier there are plenty of hotels for get the convenient location I thought it was amazing price was amazing but definitely not worth it and I've stayed in $60 hotels in the project before in Rockford and they were nearly not as bad as this guy and his behaviors

Room and hotel were VERY CLEAN! Decor was dated but location was perfect.
