Travelers Inn - Motel in Winston-Salem - 5906 University Pkwy, USA

It was okay. The bathroom left alot to be desired. The shower was kinda gross. The bed was not very comfortable and they only gave us 2 pillows for a king size bed. The air conditioning however worked well.

Roaches crawling everywhere as soon as we walked in the room and turned the lights on, spider webs and mold and the floor in the bathroom had broken crack pipes in the floor behind the door. Bed covers were full of burn holes

This room had roaches and hair in the air conditioner/heater....no hot water it was just warm and no pressure

The manager was so kind and accommodating. He let me check the room before committing to a stay. It could've been cleaner, I only needed it for one night, so I stayed.

This is not a place I would stay for more than a night or two. Don't be scared, though. The rooms are clean, water is hot, AC works, and has working small appliances. The rooms are not that cozy, the beds were stiff, and the location isn't great. Overall, it is a good stop for the price if you are on a road trip or just need one night at a hotel.

In the movie Forest Gump when Jenny said Run Forest Run. That would be my suggestion to you. The room was dirty and smelly. When I threw back the bed sheets I found blood stains on them. I called the front desk wanting another room, they didn't have any more (lied).. They came to change the sheets and brought me a can of air freshener. About 3 am I woke up with bed bugs biting me. Checking out this morning I was telling the clerk about the bugs. The first thing she said (no discounts). My suggestion to you is travel little further down the road to the next motel. Run Forest Run.

My buddy and I were just passing through on our way back to Iowa from the outer banks of NC.||||This is an older hotel, nothing special. The room was old and kind of rundown, but clean, the non-smoking room did not smell like a smoking room with air freshener and the bed was comfortable. Friggen "Killer" water pressure in the shower which was awesome. I wish I could get that kind of pressure in all hotels. I don't expect a lot if I am paying $62 bucks for a room in Winston Salem and this was ok. If you are expecting more..then plan on paying more somewhere else, probably twice as much in this area. So don't complain about it if you stay here to save some bucks. It works..it's fine.||||The Mexican restaurant next door is pretty good. We had dinner there. Waffle House is around the corner at the next exit for breakfast! The pecan waffle is amazing. I could live on those things.

This place was right off of 52 and really Easy to find. The beds were really comfortable. The room was pretty basic, but clean. Not a franchise, we support local. The family that runs the place is really nice too!
