Loved my night at The Travelers! Owners and staff were friendly and helpful, lounge/bar/kitchen area was comfy and well stocked and if you get down there before August 2024 you can see an incredible photography exhibit in the lobby. Room was super clean and bed was comfy. Would stay here again and very much recommend! Thanks for a great stay, y'all.
This was a cool place to stay in historic Clarksdale! The location was great so close and walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. It was odd at first with so much concrete but after settling in it was cozy. It was pretty easy to use the keypads for the front door and room door but someone else who was staying let me know someone tried to get in her room on accident! It was cool to sit and chill in the lobby they have honor system beer service. Often no staff around.
This place is such a gem. After regularly staying in hotels for work, this place was a breath of fresh air. It's very nice on the inside with a beautiful art exhibit, Soil, on display throughout the main space with jazz or blues playing regularly in the background.(The vibe is spectacular) It seems it's like a small airbnb inn. The rooms and beds are nice and cozy and there's a community bar and kitchen shared with other guest. Can't recommend this place enough!
Came for a quick weekend trip and so glad we made the decision to stay at Traveler’s. We arrived Friday around 5 and it was so easy to get inside with the codes provided. Love the easy parking across the street. The lobby with the music playing and self-service were great touches. Never have I ever stayed at a hotel with an honor system for the beers on tap or in the cooler. The local coffee, granola and yogurt were nice touches in the morning. The location is centrally located that you can walk to most places while downtown. The room we stayed in on the second floor, was very minimal, loved the rawness of the room with the exposed concrete and ceiling. The bed was very firm for my liking, but still had no problems sleeping. The bathroom shower is nice and big and loved the Malik + Goetz products! The place is super quiet, no street noise or really anything to disturb. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and book your stay hear rather than a chain hotel. Meant to pick up one of the t-shirts before we left, but I’ll have to wait until next time. We will be back.
This is an absolute gem. Firstly, the hotel itself is really cool. It’s unlike a traditional hotel, with a real family feel about it. There is a very personal touch. The place works on a trust basis, with a lovely bar that you help yourself and note what you’ve had. The shared kitchen is fully equipped and has great facilities. ||The people that work here clearly love doing so and are so warm. I really couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Very nice hotel, well located, very friendly staff. Close-by parking, open kitchen for water or coffee. We enjoyed it a lot with no complaints. The only one comment would be about stairs to 2nd floor - they are narrow to bear in mind if you have larger suitcase.
Yes, you do want to stay here! We read their reviews after considering all the other local options and opted for Travelers. No regrets - location was perfect, the welcome was warm, the room was comfy, and both the coffee and beer were on tap (you do pay for the latter, mind you). Far outdid the chains - do you really wanna stay in yet another box like all those you’ve slept in a zillion times before? Many thanks, Travelers!
Absolutely top notch. The location is great, the building is easy to access and clean, and the room is perfect. Management is friendly and communicative. There is also a phenomenal serve yourself bar in the lobby!
When I visit Clarksdale Mississippi my family and I stay at the Hampton Inn because of the convenience it offers to our relatives. During this particular stay, Oct 28th-Oct 29th, I got to meet the most amazing staff! The woman that checked us in, I f
On a cold Wednesday night in January we came here after we saw a flyer a blue cotton bake shop we needed to check bad apples blues club out. And we are so happy that we did! It was a very special hart touching night with a lot of live music and histo
Go see the new sales associate Caressa for assistance. She was absolutely amazing. She made my experience of furniture shopping a whole lot easier. She was also very polite. She helped me to pick out the best furniture. I am very grateful.
Great night listening to "Reverent" Roberts. Met Stan Street as a wonderful host, working hard, like most of Clarkesdale, to keep the sound and those vibes alive. Thanks Stan!
What a neat, cozy little place off the beaten path. The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. If you are here, it's a must go, and if we get back through, we will be back.
