Good place for kids especially toddlers! The train ride is a must! Lots of parking. Easily can spend 2 hours here walking around and they have bunch of picnic tables or you can have a picnic on the grass area. You can bring your toy train since they have a train track inside one of the building. Or you can buy a train in the gift shop. Overall, good experience for my toddlers.
We are huge fans of The Travel Town Railroad. Spent a gorgeous afternoon among the old time engines. What a gem. The small train ride was cool. The gift shop was nice and we picked up a couple of souvenirs. I will definitely be bringing the kiddos back many times over.
It's so cute here! It's free and there is a parking lot. Has a handful of interesting train displays and historical blurbs. You can walk onto a few of them and check them out. Has a small gift shop, but it's very children oriented, wish they had more gifty trinkets. There is a small train ride for a fun whimsical time. Reminds me of a train station in Fallout 4 lol
Free, and they take donations. The train ride was $4 for adults. $3 Seniors and $2 kids. Cool place to see some nlvintage trains and vehicles. You can also have a kids' bday party here.
Brought a big group of kids, with their parents, for an end of summer field trip. Kids are really thoroughly enjoying all the train cars and being able to interact with some of the train stuff. Great place for train enthusiast young and old.
Travel Town is a step back in history of the American Railroad. Several static displays of steam locamotives 🚂. We celebrated our grandson's 4th birthday making this the fourth family generation to visit this train museum. Free admission except for the train ride.
So much fun! I expected to spend an hour here but ended up spending at least 2 hours. We could have easily spent more. There are areas to have picnic and parking is free. Train ride is a few dollars and I believe it goes around twice. ($7 for one adult and one child) PROTIP: BRING TOY TRAINS FROM HOME. There is a train set area and everyone brings their own Thomas the Engine, etc. from home. If you forget or don't, you can get one from the gift shop if your child is upset. A few kiddos were upset so to save yourself the trouble, try to bring a train or two from home. My child doesn't care about trains and I still had to get one from the giftshop.
Loved the upkeep on the trains. The kids are able to go inside and explore the trains. They have a train ride. Entrance to travel town is free, but you can donate.

Visiting "Nashville Delights" was an unexpectedly authentic journey to the heart of Tennessee, just a stone's throw away from Hollywood Boulevard. From the moment I walked in, I felt transported to a cozy Nashville eatery. The Tennessee hot chicken?
