I have stood at this hotel a lot , they have 4 hour special if you want to just chill for a few . The price is not bad for over night. The area is safe don't have too worry about something bad happening. I also live in the area as a kid . The room have always been clean and no bed bugs any of the times I visited and yes I always check the beds anywhere I stay
Paid for 6 days straight and got excuses for not changing my bed for 6 days. Slammed the phone on me for asking again on 5th day. Stephanie on the desk was rude and abrupt to anyone asking her a question. I suffer nerve pain with extreme difficulty walking. After going to the office for coffee and back, my card had been canceled; so, I went back and watched her slide a card over and over before handing it to me. Day 6 I had to call the police to get my sheets changed. Checkout time is 10 am—so, in the mornings I was told that I’d have to wait until at least 6 pm; and, in the evenings I’d be told my bed would be changed in the morning. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!! I booked a room here for 6 days. My first day was August 3rd 2024. Not only was Stephanie at the desk bitter, snobbish and consistently rude to guests at Travel Inn; but she locked me out of my room as she could very easily see that I have difficulty walking. I’m 71 years old, diagnosed with with chronic nerve pain. Every evening I was told that I couldn’t get my bed changed until morning and every morning I was told my bed could not be changed until after 6 pm. On the 6th day of this nonsense I called the police. I had clothes, shoes, computer, food and other bags. I was forced to take my belongings to a room down the hall piece by piece to another room after Stephanie lied to the police telling them that she would have my room cleaned while I simply stepped out. She apparently has house keeping angry with anyone who complains. I can’t count the number of times she has arrogantly lied without remorse. She is sure she will never be held accountable. It’s a shame that she’s getting away with being nasty to people every day all day. If you truly care about her treatment of consumers who visit Travel Inn, please check for yourself and see how abusive and disrespectful Stephanie is. Sincerely, AH Johnson//ahj Sent from my iPhone
My husband and I stayed at the Travel Inn from May 5th, 2024 to May 9th, 2024. Our stay was unexpected but everything we needed in the moment. A perk was the $80 a night. We found this to be affordable. Another perk was the location. We were across the street from Popeyes, S2 City Grill, JJ’s, and a gas station to name a few businesses. Although the room smelled like cigarettes, there was a bed, two side tables, a desk with a chair, a mirror, a sink, a toilet, and a shower. This was perfect for a couple who needed a place to crash for a few nights. Another perk was the staff who came every morning to provide clean towels and to collect trash and dirty towels. Also, they KNOCKED! And, gratefully, they did not enter when we had a “do not disturb” sign on our door. Whenever my husband or I needed to pay for another night, it was as simple as going to the front desk and paying for it. All in all, this experience was great. Thank you, Travel Inn, for being reliable when we needed it most!
This place was a dump. There was a wrapping from a sanitary pad. Behind the toilet there were cigarette burns and the blankets I got a room with two beds my sheet was not clean. I would not advise anyone to stay here. The pictures on the website look ok , but the pictures are not the same as you will see once you check in had I not paid online I would have demanded my money back and made them call the police because it was that horrible. I was ripped off, never again will I go there. Had not my cousin been in the hospital at Loyola University I would not have ever gone there. I give them a zero.
If you just looking for a quick getaway for a few hrs, then it not bad! Location is good, by restaurant stores and gas station!
I needed a place to gather my thoughts, and healing, it's been a stressful year for me, and this is the place to be, the is effective and and friendly, and everything is very nice, and the staff are their own security, they keep eye 👁️👀 for everything,or if you have concerns, thanks again for everything 🙏.
When you drive into the property, only to find three police cars in the lot, that's a good time to go elsewhere. We should have left. After we checked in, one of the cops just said, "you shouldn't leave your room tonight." The room was seriously beaten up and there were a lot of long-term residents, many just hanging out in the parking lot. There are many other choices. Don't select this one.
Was EXACTLY what I needed after a long night out. The bed was very comfy and inviting. The shower and water was SUPER hot which I loved, and overall, everything was pretty clean! My small gripe was the small bundle of baby ants that lingered right by where the fridge was, but other than that? I'll make that a place to stay for sure in the future.
I made an online order and it didnât come out right and I really wanted another one so Iâm thankful Lavonia was able to fix my order! It really made my day!
Not many times you get a good feeling at a burger joint, the young man that helped us was 10/10, great customer service and friendly, food was great to and the atmosphere was very welcoming! We need more shops with good people like the staff that wo
