Unsafe, dark, out of code buildings and property. Transients hanging out. No management, no security, no maids, apparently no clean up and, worst of all, obviously, no one cares. Why hasn't the city gotten involved? Oh, mustn't leave out the drunk/druggie guests (?) staggering around. One of whom apparently works at the motel. Seemed to have an office key anyway. Maybe the owner! I left without asking. It's appalling yet almost laughable. Except for my employers who booked my stay and are now paying for two vastly different motels! So, hopefully you get the idea and just keep driving on past the unlit sign and down the road. Reno, Redding , anywhere. That's what I did.

The maintenance guy has been bye at least 3 times to fix the sink and the sink still continues to leak. The window has not been fixed; it has no screen for the window so if you want to open it the bugs will fly straight in. Plus the window does not open correctly.

I usually stay somewhere else that was booked for the day I needed to stay and a few other places didn't answer so I took to expedia to find a room for cheap. Travel inn was the most inexpensive so I booked it. When I got to the hotel the outside looked pretty run down and people were hanging out outside, but I hoped the inside would be better. The office looked just as bad as the outside and the room itself was no better. The door was not flush in the frame. There was about 1/2 inch space at the top and about a 1/4 at the bottom. This made the room very cold and drafty which caused me to sleep with the heater on the entire night. The door was so flimsy that it looked like someone could shoulder bump it open from the outside. The bathroom cabinet door was broken and they broken wood was under the cabinet. The entire room was so outdated, raggedy and old. I will NEVER, EVER stay at this hotel again or recommend anyone to stay because I did not feel safe and it was raggedy and run down. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and they had cable.

Zero Star Motel--- We arrived and it looked nothing like the photos provided to book. Was to be just overnight and were treated horribly by the desk person/manager. He tried to charge $268 for 1 night when it was to be $65 including tax saying we were to stay a week. He had my ID and credit card and said no reservation for us and when he showed the screen my reservation was there. He said not me and he not know who that was coming in. He told us to go ...leave...stay another hotel angrily when we asked to see the room. The property was old, dirty, and paint covering the windows. It looked totally lacking in security. We highly recommend that you not book at this property! We told the booking company that for their sake they should remove this from their site. I am a old hotel person so I know from both sides what is and what should be and this is not it. This review is honest and meant to be a warning to other travelers.

I have stayed in many budget-type motels before. However, this place is the worst I have ever visited. The bed sheets were covered in hair from someone else (see posted pictures). There were people using drugs in the parking lot. The room smelled like a dirty bathroom when I walked in, and the bathroom was so dirty I would not feel comfortable taking a shower in it. I was at this location all of 20 minutes before I decided I did not feel safe enough to spend the night there since I was traveling alone. I asked the manager for a refund for the above stated reasons, and he refused. I told him about the people using drugs in the parking lot, and he simply denied it. I made a reservation at another motel in town, and I told them the story without using the motel's name. The desk clerk guessed right away that it was the Traveler Inn that I was coming from. Apparently, they have a reputation with the local police as the place that you go to use or buy drugs. I decided to leave without a refund and dispute the charge with my credit card company. Not a safe place to stay, I honestly feared for my safety.

I didn't read the reviews before booking and regret it! As soon as I walked into the lobby I knew it would be a dump. Lobby was filthy and cluttered. Room was nasty too. First thing I did was check for bed bugs. Thankfully there were none. The room was smelly and my skin felt itchy the whole time. I told my kids to keep their shoes on. I didn't sleep all night. If it wasn't for my husband and him not wanting to pay a little extra for a room, I would have NEVER stayed here with my kids! I would advise to stay away at all costs!

The room we stayed in was dirty. There were both live and dead bugs in every room, thankfully none on the bed that we saw at least. But the bed itself dipped so low in the middle that we were practically on the ground. It also was tilted so much we were rolling out to the left side and rolling into each other all night. We didn’t even use their blankets, we brought our own pillows and blankets and were using those instead on top of theirs. The shower was so dirty we weren’t sure when the last time it was cleaned with actual cleaning products and not just wiped down, if it got that much done to it. There was still leftover body fluids in the toilet from whenever the last guest was there. Gross! We were literally too grossed out to even use the bathroom, so much so that when we checked out in the morning we went to the nearest gas station and used theirs. It was SO much cleaner than the hotel’s. We didn’t even want to change our clothes into clean clothes because we weren’t sure how clean the bed was or when the sheets had been washed/changed last. The A/C unit worked at least. One good thing. But it would turn off at random times and then wouldn’t come back on, no matter what buttons we would hit, it would just randomly come back on even though no timer was set for it. We paid $55 for the room for the one night and unfortunately they don’t do refunds OR exchanges. The room we stayed in wasn’t even worth $20 it was so bad. Our key didn’t even work in the door properly, thankfully the nice gentleman helped us get into the room. The only perk was the older lady who checked us in when we got there. Even though she was having slight trouble doing part cash part card, she still engaged us in conversation and made us laugh. She was literally the only good part about this whole experience!

This was the last place available in town. It was in a sketchy neighborhood, and it looks like they have long term tenants. It's old, and in poor shape. The office door was locked, and I had to ring the buzzer. The office was cluttered, with receipts just thrown into a box. The manager acted like he was doing us a favor to let us bother him. The room had an old TV, and the remote worked for the satellite box but not for the TV. When I asked the manager about it, he said someone probably stole the remote that works, and that I can control the TV manually. Their sign says they have free WiFi, but the signal was too poor to get internet service. We were only there 15 minutes when we decided to leave. The manager denied us a refund. He said if we'd asked for it within a couple minutes of renting it, he could have done it, but we'd stayed too long. It was worth it to drive more than two hours to find the next available hotel.
