Travel Inn - Motel in Daytona Beach - 850 S Ridgewood Ave, USA

Had food i just got a few hours prior, came back to eat after drinking and saw a roach moved the food and saw 2 more baby roaches. When i spoke to omar and brought the issue to his attention he said, “you shouldn’t have left food in there, what do you want me to do, grab you some roach spray?” And was very rude. On top of all this i booked a hotel with 2 beds. Beds that are big enough to fit 2 people in each. They charged me an extra $40+ because i had an extra person staying. Should not matter period because what extra am i paying for??? I didn’t see them offer me an extra bed for the room so why tue extra money. Terrible service, room service came beating on the door at 10 and we were sleeping, never came back later to give fresh towels. SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA AND GET A BETTER STAY, DO NOT STAY HERE. When i was cleaning up to check out i lifted my pillow that i was sleeping on and there was a roach under it. As seen in first photo

No towels or wash clothes Had to use pillows case to dry off. Told owner next morning at check out she pretended she didn't know English

If I could give zero stars I would. Came to this motel for a five night stay. I paid and everything once I got to my room the door didn’t lock, there were drug deals going on outside, there were peep holes in the walls, etc. I didn’t even stay one night I requested a refund and stayed somewhere else. I got my refund back but now they are taking it back from my bank. Please do not go here they are scamming out of over 1,000 dollars it is not worth it

Other than the location, I wouldn't recommend this as a place to stay!!!! Roach Motel!!!

Check in to get my key and was informed that if my child has an accident id be charged an extra $125. Which would had been fine and understandable if the room and even beds was actually clean to begin with. As soon as I walk in I’m greeted by roaches and nasty bedding in a extremely hot room with a mildew smell. And the fridge was broken. It was so bad that I even left after the first night would had left even sooner if I had somewhere else to go right then and there. This is absolutely unacceptable. Paid $225 plus a $25 damage deposit in cash upon arrival (which wasn’t even mentioned until I showed up) for 3 nights and I left after the first night when I finally found somewhere else to stay. When I stated my issues to the management I was then immediately kicked out with my 4 year old with no ride and no where to go until after 11 when my dad got off work. This is the worse hotel I’ve ever seen and management was absolutely horrendous! Do not go there!

First off we got put in a room where I had no refrigerator no coffee maker no lights we had to turn the main light on to see our room and we had to keep it on but it was bright enough to be able to for the room to see you in the room

We were over charged by $40. There's used needles and tie off's for shooting up drugs. The AC hardly worked. The bathroom sink was broken. The shower was dirty and had half in it. The TV remote was busted and barely worked. The person who checked us in was rude. The bed was uncomfortable and for a king size bed has a whole 2 pillows.

The motel itself needs some major updating and a coat of paint. But for the location and the price it worked perfectly. The check-in process was super easy and they are friendly. If you do choose to stay here I recommend bringing extra pillows, extension cord, hair dryer, coffee and cups. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. Lighting could be better as there was only 1 lamp for our king size room. The bed was actually not bad at all. Rooms were clean and the tv was an updated and good size. The ONLY down fall of staying in these types of motels is you don't have the luxurious amenities. No hair dryer, no toiletries, updated decorating and accents. But the plus side is not a ton of people bothering you, parking is not an issue and it's back to basics. Everything I look for when I go on a trip to get away from life. I def would go back
