Big rooms, no wash cloths, very quiet rooms. Except parking space is small. Good on price. Small farming town. We rented here because other motels and hotel were booked full.
Rooms stunk like either urine or overwhelming orange disinfectant to cover the cigarette smell that eventually I could smell. There was NO breakfast, as advertised. The coffee was from an old, dank coffee pot. Very minimal. Rude manager after I tried to check out, he tried to blame me for bringing the cockroaches. Which don't even live up where I came from. He was also extremely rude when I asked for a receipt. Telling me that "This isn't a 5- star hotel." I would sleep in my car before this place. Beware of all the drug traffic and sketchy people coming and going at all hours.
I found myself needing a place to stay for about a week while waiting to close on my house. We were fortunate to find this hotel. The staff were kind and accommodating for my family and pets. I felt safe there. If I needed anything at all, I just had to ask. I appreciated that there were several restaurants in walking distance. The staff was very friendly. If we needed Housekeeping services, they did a great job. If we didn't need housekeeping services, they were respectful of our privacy.
The tub had been painted but was peeling. One wash cloth for 2 people. The fan didn't work. There were people outside our window all night talking. Booking said refrigerator and there was none. Zero coffee to be found. I did see a coffee pot in office but it was locked up tight. Clerk did offer to let us park in handicap parking because that is where the cameras were pointed but we were not comfortable doing that. On top of this is an extended stay hotel with permanent residents living here.
So my first time ever at Sunnyside. Not a bad little town. This hotel though.. I wish I could say it was a great hotel. On the outside it looks great. Great grounds. Everything looks wonderful. However my kids found a pink pill behind the curtains. Had they done a full clean we wouldn't have found that. Under the bed was more stuff not pills but different stuff. Needless to say, we won't be staying there. They might've cleaned up sense because this was a few years ago. But yea. We won't be coming back
Me and my family had a very nice and quiet stay at this motel. Price for the great room was amazing and had great air-conditioning overall. 10/10 👍
Wow. I stayed here long time ago and my experience wasn't as pleasant because of the old owners/management. But now they have new owners and management. I must say, the room are much cleaner, well organized, spacious, microwave, refrigerator. The suites are huge, I felt like I was living in an apartment. You get so much more with the little amount you pay. The owners greeted me as soon as I walked in to check in, they made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. In the lobby, I noticed complementary coffee and continental breakfast. Free parking! My stay was quiet, didn't notice people just hanging around outside in the parking lot, no parties next door either. Overall, a very content stay. 🙂
This is the best hotel to stay in, for Budget hotels. The owner and his family are awesome people. The people that stay there some live there long term. The rooms are clean the area is quiet. This was a great location that is making me want to possibly buy a house in Sunnyside. One of my best experiences that I will never forget. Very good place to stay
Super delicious drinks! We stopped here on the way to Seattle and got a Pink Lemonade, Pink Drink, and Iced Chai. They all taste really good, and I love the presentation. Highly recommend!
Got 4 Carne Asada, 2 beef, and 2 marinated pork with everything on them. Total was $22. Carne Asada was good, and beef was delicious (great glavor and consistency). Pork had some gristle. Tacos have meat, beans, lettuce, and cilantro. Vegetables were
El Fogon should be considered a national treasure. The food they offer is always fresh, tasty, and authentic. I try to stop by every chance I get because not only do they have great food but the people here are friendly, and offer great service to an
Great food, service, atmosphere...steak was huge and perfectly cooked, wedge salad was not covered in dressing and was absolutely perfect, outdoor seating with heaters and infused complimentary water. Desert was a giant cinnamon roll.
Although everywhere is expensive now a days, Carlâs Jr. Is always been on the expensive side but these guys in Sunnyside always have good deals and cupos for y'all. They are always super friendly about it, just ask them and they will tell you what
